"The staff on the floor were very helpful. However the cashier failed to ring up items at the correct price twice. Was overcharged by 25% for 2 items and then I caught the error shortly after leaving the store...went back and the cashier didn't seem concerned and offered no apology either. It almost felt as though I was inconveniencing them by coming back and asking for a refund. Pretty poor work ethic, ACE usually has good, trustworthy folks so I am quite disappointed."

"Went to this Ace after another store called ahead of time. We were buying a large Big Green Egg and the nest that goes with it. The employees kept arguing about how much it weighed when the younger employee (who was nice) obviously had looked it up and said it’s about 160 lbs. We said that’s fine, however the other man helping pretty much did everything he could to talk us out of buying it. He was rude, not helpful at all, his questions were quite pointed and snarky … clearly spending $1500 is no big deal there. The woman attempting to help was nice although same attitude of insisting we can’t possibly lift it. They must get sales like that all day long they don’t need our business. At one point he said they would be using a ladder to get it into our car? Huh? Between my husband and myself we can lift 160 lbs but they kept telling us no … so we walked out! They CLEARLY do not need our business or the sale. Shop at another location or better yet go to DeRonne … they know how to treat customers!"
"This place is great! Close to home, have almost everything you need for projects around the home. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Free popcorn is a bonus. They have paint, electrical supplies, plumbing supplies, cleaning products, gardening supplies, outdoor furniture, grills, hardware, tools, all the little random stuff you need to fix things around the house. Ace also has a decent rewards program. Overall, a very nice place to shop."
