"Very helpful hardware store, and they are open a couple of hours later than the other surrounding ACEs. All the employees seemed reasonably happy to work there (unlike Home Depot). They didn't have what I needed in stock, but they knew exactly what it was and where I could get it at another location. The only criticism I have with the place is that all the house plants were next to the front door. I get that it's the only source of natural light, but now that the weather has turned cold, I fear it's not doing the plants any favors. Very few plants enjoy getting blasted with ice cold air. Highly recommend."
"I had a very disturbing encounter with the afternoon manager of this store today. He was confrontational and was loudly explaining why he could not take a broom that I purchased at another ACE hardware back. He could have nicely explained this in like 20 seconds, instead, he was loud and rude. I am not a confrontational person, so I left. I wonder how many other patrons he has confronted this way. The other staff was great. I feel bad for the employees working underneath him. I will not be back to this store."
