"If I could give zero stars, I would. They warranty the fix for 90 days and it was never fixed properly. It broke twice and they needed 2 plus weeks each time to come and fix it again. Then they told us we need to pay ($150 more) to diagnose because we were out of warranty from the original date when it was never fixed the first time. Avoid!!"

"The service technician was totally incompetent. Had to have him come out a second time due to misdiagnosis and then due to his false report, it voided my warranty and he cost me over $700. Never again A&E Factory Service. Unable to actually talk to a customer service agent. All phone numbers were automated and no option for customer service. Went online and asked for a review but no response . Terrible service."

"I do not recommend unless you like getting the run around. Sears gave me a 9 hour appointment window. I waited from 7am until 4pm for the repair person to arrive. When they failed to show, I contacted Sears. I spoke to a representative who told me someone would call me in 30 min. I waited an hour and never received a call. i called back and was transferred 6 time before i could get rescheduled for the next day. I decided not to continue with the service, so I called to cancel the home warranty. I spoke to the representative and explained I wanted to cancel, and she said, "you've reached the right department." 2 minutes later, she said I would need to call back because the department that handles cancellations opens in 10 minutes. I said to her, so they open at 9:26am?" because it was 9:16 am when I was talking to her and thought 9:26am was an odd time to open. I'm still trying to cancel."

"I am writing this to warn potential customers. I was charged $149 for refrigerator repair I did not receive. I canceled the service. The repair technician showed up, and I explained that I canceled service. He was very nice and reassured me that I would not be charged. I have been sent 4 bills for $149 for a service I did not receive. Everytime I called a customer service representative said they would remove the charge from my account. I received a collections notice for this bill. Please beware of their unethical business."

"I would give 0 if there is an option. My washer machine had issue on the door lock so I couldn’t close the door. I contacted Sears service department for diagnosis. The technician arrived at my house but didn’t diagnose the problem AT ALL. What he did was just check the washer door and told me the entire door needs to be replaced. The entire diagnosis was less than 10 mins. The cost he quote me to replace the door was over $700 I then checked it by my self and it was only a loose pin from the spring sitting inside the door. It didn’t cost anything to fix it. I expected an experienced technician should be at least diagnose the problem and let me know what the problem is. I didn’t expect the technician to fix it of course. However, he didn’t even perform the diagnosis part. Basically just showed up and told me to replace the door. I don’t believe I should get charged on the diagnosis fee because he didn’t do the diagnosis so I was requesting a refund. I have contacted the service department several times. Every time they just told me they sent the case to Sears Home Services Email Team to review the case. The email team doesn’t have any phone number to call. The only way to communicate with them is through email. I finally received the email from them. The decision is they can’t refund me the diagnosis fee because the fee is for a technician to review the unit and to provide a diagnosis. I tried to explain to them the technician didn’t do any diagnosis but never got any response back. So far I have emailed the team 6 times but never heard back from them. The experience to use their services is terrible."
