"Drove over to this Big Lots to pickup an item and was totally shocked...stuff in boxes everywhere... aisles filled with boxes. The left over Christmas items need to be seriously discounted to move them. Walked around the store and wondered what was the plan. I understand they are understaffed but please, to wait in line for 20 minutes to get a few items and pickup one item...was not an efficient use of my time."
"It certainly is a clearance center. Great deals when you find something you want...and often things you didn't know you needed. They were really short handed the last time I went. Right before Christmas, and the store was quite the mess. Manager said he had three workers call off at the same time. Can't run a business effectively with no staff. Felt bad for them."
"I visited Big Lots for storage containers and cleaning supplies. The items were in stock. However, I noticed that many items didn't have prices on them. When you got to the front cashier and held up the line because of price checking, the customers behind me became frustrated. That aspect of my visit was not okay. However, I got what I needed, customer service was good and the store was clean."
"Very friendly service from everyone. It can be a bit disorganized in Some sections - like any discount retailer, but it bright, clean, and there are some great deals. If you are entering from Ford rd, it can be tricky to find the parking lot entrance. It’s right before the restaurant and it looks like a narrow alleyway - be sure to keep an eye out. If you miss it, you cannot access Big Lot’s parking area from the restaurant’s parking lot."
