"A good old fashioned neighborhood hardware store that puts the customer first. You don't have to walk miles and miles through isles and isles to find a simple picture hanger. The prices are a little higher but it's worth it for the convenience factor. Thank you Great Lakes Ace Hardware."
"I never leave bad reviews, but I think it is necessary here. My family has been going to this Ace for years. They are generally 20% more in price than Meijer or Home Depot, but the location is convenient. Today I went to have a key cut and asked one of the employees (short hair, glasses) for help. He didn't say anything, he just walked over to the key rack, acting like I was inconveniencing him. He stood by the key rack looking for a few minutes before he told me "we don't have it, you'll have to go to another store." After looking on the side rack for a few seconds, I found the key with the same part number. He cut the first key, which did not fit the vehicle. I asked to have a new key cut. He was clearly frustrated, but cut a second key. The second key was wrong. The third time, he said with an attitude: "That's all I can do, go somewhere else." I asked him if there was someone else that could cut a third key before I had to drive somewhere else. Another employee (very polite and responsive) cut the third key. He mentioned that he had many customers returning with miscut keys. The third key still did not fit the vehicle. I asked for a refund and had the key cut at Home Depot (the first cut worked perfectly)."
"I come here specifically because they sell Benjamin Moore paints, I've had great luck with the pain counter here & I've had good service. The associates are friendly & knowledgeable, they do a good job mixing the paint & checking it after. Plus the location & parking are pretty good."
