"You're better off digging thru the carts in the walkways still full of shipment, then trying to find something on a shelf. You're also better off googling something in store than trying to ask anyone there. One manager was speaking loudly to another employee complaining about work drama, and when that happens aisles apart, it just makes everyone uncomfortable. The store is an absolute disaster. If something actually makes it to a shelf, it's more than likely not in the right spot. There are tripping hazards all over the place with boxes and products all over the floors. It also looks like the floors haven't even been swept in weeks but it's probably been longer. The other nice apart about this store is that it could be an hour from closing and they will greet you at the door to tell you they're closed. I'm really not sure why I went back. I won't make that mistake again... I've grown up near the location in kalamazoo and always thought it was a great store and great company, but I've got my doubts now."
"James the Manager was amazing. I was looking for a $30 item for my daughter for Christmas and he went out of his way to find it for me. Not a big sale to say the least but he treated the process like it was. So kind and helpful to dig through several boxes that were just delivered. Going to extra mile and with a smile is so rare these days. Much appreciated James! And the other associates were great as well. One offered us a seat while we were waiting. Multiple associates asked if we needed help. Thank you for the great customer service Team Grandville!"
"I typically don’t leave reviews but this Joann’s is a mess. Every single time I’ve gone for the past few months (and I’m in this store frequently) the aisles have been full of boxes, shelves have not been stocked and are a mess, and there’s never anybody around to help. Been hiring for months but still seem to be drowning and understaffed. The employees I have seen around have been wonderful and helpful, but I find myself avoiding this Joann’s and driving the distance to other locations instead because the experience is so miserable."
