"My husband and I were traveling around Lake Michigan when our car broke down. The tow truck driver gave us a couple of options and we went with Paul's. Our breakdown was on a Sunday when no shops were open. So we dropped the car off Sunday evening. They made time to look at the car on Monday. On Tuesday morning, I was told to expect the car to be ready by late Wednesday. Then I get a call in the afternoon that it was ready! When we went to pick up the car, Joe was there and explained the repair and the warrantee that came with the part. He recommended that we take the car out for a drive to make sure all was in order and then provided his personal cell number to let him know how it went. Our vehicle is a BMW and you never know who is capable of doing the repairs and if parts will be immediately available. We are so grateful to Gloria (the service writer who was so gracious every time I called for an update), Joe, (the owner who was very accommodating and empathetic) as well as the mechanic who did the actual work (thank you! I wish I knew your name!). I am so glad we landed at their shop! If I were a local, Paul's would be my go-to place!"

"My Jeep wrangler’s clutch went out on the dunes and I called around to local places hoping to find one that could get me in as soon as possible since I’m not from around here and was about to go on a summer road trip with my Jeep. I called Paul’s auto & tire that afternoon and spoke with Joe and he (along with everyone else I spoke to) was extremely understanding and friendly. I explained my situation to him and that I needed a clutch repair and they got me in the next day and were very fair on pricing. I’m very thankful that I found these guys and would recommend them to anyone in my situation and anyone local."

"Firs i would like to say this is not to bash anyone they are all very nice people but I have brought my car there twice for a noise i was hearing when going over a bump was told it was my sway bar so had him fixed that picked it up on a Thursday brought it back Friday bc it was not fixed the clunking was still there so they “tightened then bc they got lose “ I spent 400 dollars it was fine for a couple weeks but then came back but worse then i went back for an oil change and full inspection bc i was planning to go on a vacation so i needed my car to be ready was told my serpentine belt needed to be replaced. He replaced that and a couple other things only charge me for my serpentine belt which was very nice. Replace my gas cap. bc it was causing the engine light to come on, put in new ball joints he said he fixed it all up and all i needed were tires well it wasn’t fixed so i have someone drive it and he said sounds like my sway bar the ones they fixed twice already he ordered them like two-three weeks and still doesn’t have my parts? I took it to another shop and was told my sway bar links are fine and it’s probably a strut and my brakes which Dennis had told me my breaks where fine and all i needed where tired after i spent almost 800 to get it “fixed” the second time im a little upset bc i love my car i drive it every day and its a little upsetting when its not being fixed and im being charged for something that isnt being fixed my car should not be as bad as it with the amount of money i have put into it"

"I had my clutch fail me while I was on vacation in Silver Lake and Dennis took great care of my car! Very reasonably priced and fast turn around time. Always pleasant to talk with on the phone and great communication. I just wish his shop was closer to where I live because I would take the rest of my cars to him!"
