"I read all of the bad reviews, but I prefer to find out for myself, and boy were the bad reviews right on. Supposedly the lunch hour is between 12:00 and 1:00 PM. I stood at the door from 12:50 until 1:30, and nobody but other disappointed customers showed up. The lights were on, and the sign said they were open. DO NOT go to this place. They are as rude and disrespectful as the previous raters said. If you open a service business, then provide reliable service. Abbie’s is rude and disrespectful to their customers. Customer service? If you are their customer you are going to get serviced."

"I'd read the negative reviews of Abbie's First Cut. I prefer to find out for myself, and boy did I ever find out!! The reviews about rudeness are unfortunately quite true. Abbie just wants your money when she wants to work, but she doesn't mind wasting your time. I arrived at 12:50 for a haircut. The sign on the door said "lunch from 12:00--1:00. The lights were on and the sign said open, but after waiting outside in the heat until 1:30 I finally gave up. When the old men ran this shop it was top notch, but I strongly advise readers to go someplace else. It's another business ran for the convenience of the employees instead of the customer. Welcome to Merica!!"

"Drove from Grand Rapids on 5/26 to get a haircut. This will probably be the new standard for how a barber shop operates during this virus. Clean, safe, even complimentary bottled water while you wait outside. As I watched customers leave after their cut, I knew my haircut was going to be great and it was. She is talented for sure. I found a new barber."

"Visited 5/23/2020: half hour wait, surprising considering all the customers rolling in, excellent haircut, very clean and safe policies if a person is so concerned about that. Very friendly owner. Highly recommended. I will return for my next hair cut."
