"My Family has been buying cakes here for years now and it has become a tradition almost to always get cakes from Ryke's Bakery. But until recently the past 5 to 6 years the frosting for the cakes is different, becoming more whipped. The reason that we have always gone here for the cakes is that induced "sugar coma" from the buttercream frosting, that is now gone. Not sure if it is from the new owner who said that no recipes are going to change, but not happy at all with the most recent ordered cake."

"Ryke's (Holland, MI) stepped in to save the day after I faced a last minute crisis with another local bakery! I spoke with Kiara on the phone and she was so kind, patient, professional, and knowledgeable when it came to placing my order. When I picked up the order, the team members were so incredibly friendly and helpful! The design on the cakes turned out better than I could have ever imagined. I ordered 3 cakes and they coordinated the color palette to match the 1970s theme and each other perfectly! The cakes were so moist, flavorful and delicious. All of our guests really enjoyed their first piece and some even went back for seconds! Thanks again so much for such a wonderful experience, it really helped to make my parent's 70th Birthday Celebration special!"
