"Stopped going to this restaurant a couple years ago after several poor experiences....used to be my favorite. Been back twice and have been pleasantly surprised to have it be a great breakfast joint again. If you haven't been in a while, it's time to try the Cherokee again."
"The outside is delightfully quirky, but inside you'll find reasonably priced breakfast items, great service, and good food. The coffee was okay, but our cups never ran dry. Service is efficient and friendly."
"This is certainly a community restaurant. The food was okay, it was just kinda there. Yes they had a breakfast burrito but it was just a breakfast burrito, nothing special about it. Their Mac n cheese is Kraft and they want $6 for it. I could buy 6 entire boxes of Kraft for that. I just expected maybe they'd have a restaurant mac n cheese for $6 a bowl. If you want a side it's pretty overpriced. For the price of a baked potato a la carte I could buy an entire bag of potatoes and have baked potatoes all day long. The wet burrito is a really good deal, but again, it's *just* a wet burrito. Nothing special about it at all. I can see going here if I had emotional ties to this restaurant but not like, "This place is really good, let's go." The waitress seemed too busy to really care about us but she did refill my coffee and the pop multiple times, so I guess that's fine. It was just kinda weird she didn't come over and ask us "how is everything" like most wait staff does."
