"Their sandwiches are nothing to write home about. At their prices , you'd think they'd be special. I had the chicken salad on rye toast. I could have made a tastier sandwich at home. It seems like they just got a loaf of regular bread, toasted it and put a salty chicken salad on it. And a bag of chips. It was terrible. I will not be going back there and do not recommend it."

"I bought a pie last week for 23.00 a pecan choc...I go in a week later today 12/13/2023 and told pie is 28.00 a price hole of 5.00 in 1 week lder man a counter states that's always been price but on website for Fennivile Cranes it says 23.00 so very conflicting is this guy new seems odd pies are 5.00 more so I guess everyone who just wants a pie is better to go scenic route to Fennivile and save 5.00 that a huge price difference and consumer conflicting won't return to Cranes in City...Thank you for your reply to my review and appreciate whomever employee that sold it last week a younger female also was confused on price....I feel you should post pie price in Cranes in the City website and make sure it's posted on pie case very confusing you have made decided to increase the price almost 25% but hopefully you will have clearly posted on your big chalk board so no more confusion or disappointment alot of people coming back for the Holiday to our tourist town will be surprised when ordering Holiday pies...we won't be back and would drive to Fenniville to get one in the future where the price is 5.00 dollars less maybe your a franchise of Cranes but understandable your all about profit this year...but thank you for the reply again won't be back a 25% increase on any product especially at a Restaurant that is so well known is price gouging for the coming Holiday season Thank you local Dutchman"

"We needed to find lunch on the go. Crane’s in the City was close by and we decided to try them out. We were definitely impressed. You can tell that they care. They care about the food they serve and they care about their customers. We ordered the turkey reuben, hot dogs for our kids, and cider donuts. It was all packaged to go so nicely, tasted fresh and was a great value price wise. They may even be the best cider donuts I’ve ever had and only 75 cents! It’s always nice to stumble upon restaurants with fresh great food, that are family friendly and still hold value in their customers."

"I love this place! Great for sandwiches or a salad. They are pretty quick, but still need to wait like 5 minutes for your tasty sandwich! The restaurant is a walk up to order and wait for your food at your table type restaurant. It is located in historic downtown Holland and the ambiance is a nice homey/country vibe. Come for the sandwiches, salads, and incredible slices of pie (or two!)"
