"Visited while in town for a State cheer competition in Novi. The front desk is nice but not overly friendly. The room is pretty nice but a few things were a little dirty, such as the bottom of the mini fridge, the bottom of the shower, and the comforter. The pool is kinda small but nicer and cleaner than some reviews made it sound. It is cold though (but kids don't care)! The breakfast is pretty good. On the first day the hot items were scrambled eggs and cut up polish (or similar) sausage. There were bagels, mufgins, cereal, oatmeal, and hard-boiled eggs. On the second day, the hot items were cut up sausage and folded cheesy egg. There were no bread items out at first but later she brought out mini donuts, 1 bagel, and slices of bread. I strongly recommend being down there right when it starts (7 AM on the weekend) or you may miss out if the hotel is busy. Overall, I would definitely return. The location is super convenient and I was satisfied with everything."

"Hotel looks pretty new. Breakfast was a little lacking, especially on weekdays but it's pretty standard. No waffle maker, low number of selections. Everything was pretty clean. Room was really nice. Road outside is pretty busy and we heard cars in the parking lot most of the night. Second time we stayed here was much quieter from outside. Pool looked rather murky. The two men at the desk when we checked in were very nice. Recognized the reward status and were friendly."

"My family of 5, 2 adults and 3 kids - stayed here during a power outage from a snow storm. The location is convenient, but also not very appealing to the eye. Just lots of hotels and freeways. Rooms were just ok. There was a weird smell of body odor and the window was cracked when it was 18 degrees outside which made me think they were airing it out. There was also tons of dog hair in our room and a dog barking in another room. The bathroom doors are super cute sliders, but also really loud at night. Our room didn’t have a bathtub, only a shower - which was hard with 3 small children, but we made it work. The pool was absolutely disgusting and so disappointing. It is very tiny and narrow. The bottom was grimy and dirty, water was filthy and there were chunks of hair everywhere. I hope they are monitoring the chlorine levels because it was extremely strong smelling. It actually made me nervous and I ended up getting my kids out after 30 mins. Also there weren’t any pool towels so we had to go back to the front desk to get some. Again, not a huge deal - but just annoying. Probably wouldn’t have cared if we weren’t dealing with everything else on top of it. You know how you usually feel clean after swimming in a pool? Yeah, no. We did the walk of shame back to our room and I couldn’t wait to get everyone showered. Hotel was just ok in a pinch, but would for sure not ever pick it again."

"Paid for 3 days, truck broke down missed the first day. Gave my room to some one else and lost my reservation for the other 2 days had to pay to get a double queen after an hour of being held up in the lobby, I paid for a King. So I could try to straighten things up with a manager in the am. She then proceeded to give me keys that don't work and when I went down to the counter to tell her. She pulls out this tiny fake door and proceeded to show me how to open it like I am some kind of idiot. I hate her I hate this place. This was a painful experience."
