"This is one of the grossest hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in. The water from the tap and shower was pale yellow, dust everywhere, mold in the bathroom, you name it. The staff were all very friendly and professional. I think it’s just understaffed."

"I've stayed at this location before. The buildings are old but fairly well maintained. The staff is great. Friendly and professional. The problem was my room smelled strongly of marijuana. The cleaning staff should not have allowed this room to be occupied. It's a rare miss for a Marriott property for sure."

"I have never stayed in a hotel as bad as this hotel. The room was advertised and billed as a Penthouse 2 room suite and online photos revealed a nicely appointed room. Upon checking into the room in the evening after a long drive we found anything but a nice room. To begin, the odor assault upon opening the door to the room was overwhelming. There was a mix of old smoke combined with the musky smell of mold. There obviously had never been a filter change for the air system and the air coming out of the vents in the main room was quite dusty. The vents in the second room didn't even work. There was a large chunk of carpet missing from the floor and whomever had cleaned that day had failed to properly vacuum as the floor was covered in bits a debris. The hotel did not give any comfort to the possibility of other rooms being any different and it was late and we did not feel like finding another hotel. The linen in the closet had been folded and put away dirty, and there was mold covering the walls of the bathroom. The next morning all of the members of my family were coughing and congested from the poor air quality in the room. This hotel should not have the Marriott name associated with it, and it should realistically be condemned."

"The overall experience was okay. The best part of the stay was the evening shift front desk staff. Darquis in particular, was extremely attentive and accommodating. The worst part was housekeeping. I had to keep asking for things that should have been a standard provision for a 3 night stay. I could complain but the front desk staff made it right without making me feel like I was a bother."

"Pros: The staff was all very friendly and accommodating. The location is very convenient to the interstate. The full kitchen is a great bonus. Breakfast was pretty good. Bed was comfortable. Rooms were large and clean. The basketball/tennis court and pool seemed to be in great shape, and the pool area looks like a nice place to spend time. Cons: I had to switch rooms twice because of maintenance issues, including water actively dripping from a light fixture onto the kitchen counter. I ended up in a room that required walking through construction repairs, but the room itself was fine. I wouldn't say the grounds or buildings were well kept, they're definitely showing their age. The furnishings were dated, and showing wear. Overall, it was a tolerable stay. It met my low expectations, but it also met my needs. I wouldn't actively avoid this place, but unless the full kitchen is a big priority for you, there are probably better options in the area. One note: AT&T cell phone reception seems to be really poor here. I often had no signal in the room."
