"Clean rooms, good breakfast, and staff that will go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable during your stay. Highly recommend if you are visiting the kalamazoo area and need a place to stay for the night."

"I stayed here in February so it’s winter and the Heat DONT WORK AT ALL.!!…the thermostat says 80 but is Blowing out COLD AC Air. Also they advertise free breakfast from 6:30am-9:30am But what they don’t tell you is that it’s “First come First serve” i went down at 8:00am and everything was already empty, with just 1 sausage laying in the pan. The Rooms was clean…Dusty...But clean if the heat Worked i would give it a 5 outta 10…but me freezing all night I’ll give it a 3 outta 10….Oh and my Key Card Stop working had to inconveniently go back downstairs to the front desk just to get a new key"

"My husband and I couldn't be happier with our stay at Sleep Inn. Most importantly, the room was CLEAN. We always check the linen, mattress, and bathroom when we arrive at a hotel and we were impressed (We stayed on the 3rd floor.) Yes, the room was on the smaller side but who cares? We're not there to hang out in the room all day anyway. Breakfast included everything. From making waffles, to eggs & sausage, or fresh fruit- it was all included! And on top of that they had high quality tea bags to choose from for fresh hot tea. Not the usual Lipton tea packets but jars of specialty tea bags you'd find at a high end hotel. The price of the room is shockingly low for the cleanliness & services. We'll definitely stay here again on our next trip to Kalamazoo."

"Needs maintenance and a deep clean Stayed in room 228 for 1 night on 01/23. Had to stop due to freezing rain turning the roads to pure ice. Paid $79 for a room. The lady at the front desk was super nice, but the room was disappointing. 1. The swing bar lock on the room door was damaged and missing a piece to it so you could only lock the door with the deadbolt. 2. The toilet seat was damaged so it was loose and misaligned. 3. The drain under the sink was missing a cap so sewage smells were leaking out into the bathroom. 4. The medal piece at the base of the sink drain was also rusted and looked dirty. 5. The electrical boxes next to the bed stuck out of the wall slightly and weren’t flush with the wall. 6. The pullout bed/couch was covered in stains. 7. The bed sheets had small old but washed blood/body fluid stains on them. 8. The little dividing wall between the main bed and the couch had obviously not been dusted in a long time. 9. The walls had random little dirt spots/body fluid spots on them. Not a lot of them, but they were there if you looked, but that’s most cheaper hotels I feel like. I wouldn’t say the room was dirty, but if you looked you could find little corners and nooks that hadn’t been cleaned super well and overall the room could have used a deep clean. Also I noticed the elevator looks like it is missing a floor panel, but they have it covered up with a rug so it’s less noticeable. The button panel is loose in the elevator too. Overall, the employees are super nice, but they need better maintenance at this hotel."

"I travel for work 365 days a year. If you are looking for a nice and clean room around the $80 price point, then go with Sleep Inn. The rooms are consistent and no drama. The only negative thing I have to say is the breakfast is horrible if you plan on staying there long-term. After 3-5 days you don't want to eat the same exact thing for breakfast. Choices are lacking even with the same menu."
