"The heater in the room did not work. No remote for tv. Once I got one, it did not adjust the volume nor did the volume button on the TV work. Vending machine 90% empty. Breakfast was praise and picked over. Better than Motel 6, Super 8 and Red Roof inn...but not by much."

"If I could rate the service a negative number I would. I didn't expect the Ritz Carlton for the price, but I did expect the staff to at least pretend to do their jobs. Checked in on Friday night, found 3 tiny pillows on a king size bed. Went to ask for more - was told to "come back at 11". I did - at 10:55. First clerk gone - the people in front of me asked for the same thing and the new guy gave them the last one he had in back. So first guy too lazy to walk 20 feet. Mildly complained in the morning. Was assured it would be handled while we were out for the day. Came back to nothing. Same useless guy behind the desk who would not speak to me or even look at me. I was never abusive or rude. Next morning, spoke to the same morning clerk who claimed "language barrier" with housekeeping. Ummmmm... really? There was language barrier with the word pillow and a room number? This is Michigan, not Mexico City. The manager refused to speak with any of the people with issues, including the couple with a leaking ceiling in the bathroom and broken bedframe - who were told upon check in that the hotel was full so they could not change rooms - she pulled up the website which would have allowed her to book a room for that night immediately. Breakfast buffet was constantly empty, one carafe of coffee for a hotel at 75% occupancy of their 90 rooms? If you can't or won't provide the promised service to your guests, remove those services. Cannot remotely recommend with the current staff and culture of the hotel. Do yourself a favor and stay ANYWHERE else."

"This was the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in. Smells terrible, carpet hasn’t been vacuumed in forever. Our sheets had blood stains on them. My husband was greeted in the shower by 2 false eyelashes. Cigarette burns on all surfaces. Never never again! Breakfast was not stocked at 8am. No coffee."

"Staff was friendly. Shower was hot. Breakfast let's just say look around for other options. Stains on the sheets. Asked for extra towels none were washed so we couldn't get anymore. No garbage can in the room. No phone to call the front desk in your room so you have to walk to the front desk. For $100 a night you would think it would be better. Overall it's not bad just don't expect anything but a good night sleep. I won't book again unless the rates drop down. And they don't change your sheets but every 3 days if you want fresh sheets every day you have to tell front desk."

"Decided to go on a last-minute weekend getaway with our dogs. Well, all I can say about this visit is that I will never go back... The service was great, but the rooms need to be updated. The towels need to be thrown away and get new ones (yellow stains) on them. The air conditioner was not working well. Hole in the bathroom door where you can see someone punched it. The door edging is coming off. I would have left, but all the hotels in the area were booked because of an event that was going on locally. Oh, and not to mention when we got to the hotel late at night. The guests were bringing visitors (won't mention what type of visitors) to their rooms. Less desirable, and I did not want to see her attire while I was with my family Not a family-friendly hotel"
