Super 8 by Wyndham Grand Rapids/Wyoming

"If we could give 0 stars, we would. This hotel is DIRTY. The room was not fit for our dogs. The bed looked like something out of a horror movie, multiple stains, cigarette burns, and the room and hallway smelled like cat pee. I am writing this on behalf of my trucker who needed a hotel with semi truck parking. Pick anything other than this one. He actually got a refund and went down the road to the Baymont. Staff were not surprised when he came down and refused to stay. This hotel is listed on 3rd party websites - we found it through Hotels 4 Truckers and booked through Expedia (who is providing the refund). Just be aware when booking hotels (I totally forgot to look at the reviews before we booked it)."

"The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Other guests were very loud. ALL linen was extremely stained. Mattress too soft, for my tastes, like a large pillow. Pillows... ummm. I recommend bringing your own sheets, pillows, and blankets. The coffee was very good."

"Upon walking into the hotel you are greeted with a desk clerk behind glass and your key card is handed to you through a slot in the bittom of the glass. As you walk to your room the smell of cigarettes, piss, weed, and other unkown sents assaults your nostrils. The room we were in looked like it was falling apart. The ceiling in the bathroom was falling down and the bathroom door was coming apart. The light switch in the bathroom sparks at you and is a hazard. The blankets were clean but had massive holes in them. After this experience I will never stay a super 8 or a hotel run by Wyndham again and will never suggest for anyone else to stay at one either. I have stayed at multiple different hotels and it seems that the Wyndham run hotels are nasty at the least. If I could give zero stars I would."

"Rooms are decent sized. However, the TV remote was missing, the sheets on the bed were stained from I don't know what. I asked for another set of sheets and they were put on my door handle and those were stained as well. There's a red spot on the ceiling I have no idea from. There is no washer and dry, Truckers stay away!!"

"If I could give zero i would, but the location is convenient. With that being said my family and I stayed here a little over a week. When we got to our room I noticed there were no towels. I asked the lady at the front desk if we could get some. She rudely said, that didn't have any but would later. Later never came. Luckily, I had towels packed. The beds were dirty. Asked to get fresh sheets and blankets bc they were dirty. I got sheets no problem, but was told they didn't have blankets so she would wash the ones in the room and bring them to us (right across the hall). She never brought the blankets, so no towels or blankets! Our last day here we were watching tv when we received a knock at the door (apparently its routine at this hotel that the desk staff knocks at your door everyday at 10:00 to rush you to check out.. check out is 11) anyway, I opened the door the lady from the lobby asked if we were smoking. I said no.. she explained she could smell weed. I said we're not smoking the whole hall smells of weed and cigarettes. She doesn't say anything just walks off, so I shut the door. Before I can get back to the bed she's knocking at the door again. Walking away, when i open the door, yelling from up the hall how I owed 25$ bc of the smoke or we could leave. Confused, I grab my wallet and go to the lobby. After 30 minutes of waiting for her to finish harassing the other guests to leave, she tells me they give a warning for the first offense. I explained we haven't been smoking i have 3 kids in the room, but since we already used our money on this room I went to pay the 25$, to which I was told I couldn't use my card I must pay cash!! Is this a thing? Sounded fishy! Save your money the last in the morning will give you a headache and the rooms are not cleaned!"
