"Check-in was a little disappointing. We arrived 5 minutes after check-in. We were told no king-size rooms were available. Our number was given to contact us when the room would be available. We sat in the lobby for 50 minutes while other guests were given keys to their rooms. I decided to approach the counter to see how much longer we had to wait. The host said he was just getting ready to call us because our room was ready. He also said he didn't notice us sitting IN FRONT OF HIM. After an hour we were finally in our room. The rest of the stay was fantastic. The suites are big, clean, and comfortable. Th breakfast was nice, fresh and hot. Very nice hotel and would recommend it to any travelers."
"Wonderful stay! Room was exceptionally clean. The bed was super comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious. I think I have found my favorite spot to stay when I visit Grand Rapids."
"The door had dirt on it in several places, when we made the reservation, we asked for a room near the elevator, and extra towels and pillows. Our room was on the opposite end from the elevator, and we had to ask again for the towels and pillow. We stayed for three days, and they never cleaned our room. We were told they clean them every other day. We had to ask for more toliet paper, and to have our wastebaskets emptied. The front desk staff were amazing, very friendly. The breakfast was very good, lots of choices, too. We had reservations already made at Hyatt for another trip we are going on next month, however, we have canceled them, as we will never stay at a Hyatt hotel again."
"Location is right off the highway and seems to be in a safe area. Rooms and hallways do not smell. The pool is salt water, not chlorine. The hotel was great and able to accommodate my stay last minute after another hotel canceled my reservation on the day of check in. Will be staying here again when in the area."
"If I could do zero stars I would. Stayed here for about 5 hrs long enough to take a nap and a hot shower however there was no hot water not sure if other rooms had hot water but never was offered to use a different room to take a shower. I reached out to the manager Norma for a refund and was told no because they fixed the problem. Well that's great but sure didn't make it any better for my stay. I will never stay here again."
