White Pines Inn & Suites of Holland

"I stay at this property often, me and my partner love the how friendly the staff is and how clean the rooms are but this stay was the worst ever! Shortly after getting checked in the room while me and my partner were both naked and changing a family entered our room and completely freaked us out, apparently the front desk assigned our room to someone else just after 30 minutes of us being there. After that we left out for the day and came back to the room and our room keys didn't work so we had to go all the way down to the front desk and get new keys. When we laid down for bed we noticed that a couple of the pillows had brown stains. Someone in the room above us kept running around at night and we had a hard time sleeping. The breakfast was VERY LIMITED, wasn't much to choose from."

"So I am CURRENTLY staying at this hotel overnight. I’m loving my stay! The gentlemen who is here later at night at the front desk (I forgot his name but I do remember he’s a veteran, just pointing out so credit about him goes where is due) has been super helpful and has made our stay feel more like we were staying with family. The only issue we had was our first room was a conjoined room with other guests… now this wouldn’t normally be too much of an issue but I wish we were told ahead of time like when we made the reservation over the phone. ALTHOUGH the gentleman at the front desk was very understanding. All we had to say was it was our anniversary and there were kids next door and he politely and thankfully moved us all the way to the other side of the hotel which I greatly appreciated. With that being said I can confirm that both of these rooms are SPOTLESS since I saw two rooms. Absolutely plan on coming back. I also rarely leave good reviews because I’m one of those people so this means this place over exceeded my expectations."

"The staff was very accommodating and kind. They had snacks, coffee, water and popcorn available. The front lobby had a remodel and looked beautiful. I was impressed at how clean they kept the areas as it was undergoing a remodel. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I would recommend to stay in and return!"

"This was our second time staying at this hotel. The first time was back in the last week of June, where we were just in time for the whirlpool to be fixed. When we checked in, it was still closed, but an hour or two later, it was back in business!! I am glad to see that this is a property that is willing to spend the money to restore amenities after the pandemic, when a lot of hotels have decided to get rid of their whirlpools. Not only that, but one day the housekeepers forgot to clean our room before going home. Front desk supervisor Lindsay, went in our room herself to quickly change the towels and make the beds! How many front desk people are willing to take charge to right a wrong like that?! Not too many. (if I was a front desk clerk, I would too, if the guest asked) We were there again this past week. ALL staff including the manager are wonderful and they love it when you go up to the desk just to chit chat. My only feedback is that I wish they would tweek the breakfast each day, instead of having the same thing day in and day out. But it is still doable."

"Staying here is comfortable, affordable, and you feel like a VIP. The staff is friendly, and will go above and beyond to make sure your stay is enjoyable. Hot tub, pool, and patio are a plus! Breakfast in the morning is what you'd expect for a continental, and they have a good menu. While the decor is a little outdated, they're currently undergoing renovations on the lobby floor, and getting new carpet/wall treatments. Honestly, it's a small downside to the courtesy they provide. Can't wait to see then when the face-lift is done!"
