"I used to love coming to this location but since covid came the staff is rude. If you have new stipulations you need to have them posted I shouldn't have to get here with my husband and pick in choose who goes in the room but I have had all 3 of my kids in the room. Its very inconvenient and I drive out of my way and now Im thinking about changing drs offices.. If we are not sick we should be aloud.. ITS ridiculous causing a problem now.. I appreciate the inconvenience to your office.. Thanks!"

"Very bad experience with Kerry Swanton, CNP. I don't recommend to go to this facility at all or if you absolutely have to, do not visit the above mentioned nurse practitioner. We went there for the third well visit of our daughter and got a bill for $ 40,00 in the mail a couple of weeks afterwards. I know it's not much but I got curious and decided to call the billing department before I pay it since we didn't have to pay anything on the other two visits (100% insurance coverage). What I was told on the phone made me speechless for a couple of minutes. Apparently when we mentioned to Mrs. Swanton the rashes that our daughter has (she didn't even ask about the obvious) it became automatically an office visit which means that we have to copay the $ 40. Everything that happened during the "hidden" office visit was that we explained that she got them a couple of days ago and we are applying moisturizing lotion right now, also declined her suggestion to us to get a cortison creme. We said that we wanted to do the regular lotion a couple more days and if it wouldn't help we will get the cortison. No action was taken by her, for that she booked around $ 200 from the insurance company and we have to pay the $ 40. Now I know and understand that things are different in the US especially when it comes to medical treatment (our little family moved here from Germany about a year ago) but this was the absolute worst experience that we had here so far and we've seen a couple of different doctors already. I called once again on the next day since I wanted to discuss this issue with my American colleagues from work, they all told me that this is not common practice by the way, and tried to issue a complaint about the sum. I was told that everything was done correctly and I still have to pay the money. To which I replied that I would gladly pay the amount but from this day on whether me nor any other member of my family would ever set foot in their facility unless we were close to dying. I also mentioned that I would try to make sure that as many people as possible will know how they are scamming the patients which I hopefully has achieved with this post. Sorry for the long text but I think it's worth getting the word out there. Enjoy your $ 40 IHA Canton Pediatrics, you've earned it :)"
