"I gave one star only because it was the only way to proceed. Staff is inept. The doctor is aware but says his staff is employed by the hospital and not him so therefore he has no control. I recommend finding another doctor. That being said, Doctor Shaffer is a real nice guy and we like him alot. My husband and I love Dr. Shaffer and think he's worth going to see, despite the office staff."

"Been with dr.shah almost 25 years. Fantastic doctor. But he changes to the office staff and changing to Beaumont has been one of the worst choices they could have made since going to Beaumont. The service quality has gone down. Have to call 2 or 3 times to get things taken care of. Latest hurt my back. Went to get prescribed meds. And needed them to contact insurance. To get prior authorization. The Only one who can do it was not in office so I get to remain in pain until she comes back to work. No one else qualified to handle the situation. Latest in problems with dealing office staff never had problems till started working with Beaumont ."

"I have been a long patient of Dr. Margolis. He is a great doctor and takes time with you. Pleasant demeanor and never rushes you through the appointment. I recommend him fully. I rate the Cherry Hill Medical group as a 1 and unfortunately this is driving the overall rating. The staff in his office is slow, rude, and never seem to enjoy what they do. I am a diabetic and had to see an urgent care facility because the staff never bothered to process two refill requests. I don't have enough insulin to make it through the weekend. This is obviously a bad situation and a lot of unnecessary money out of my pocket. He needs to clean house and get competent people to work there."

"This office since becoming part of the Oakwood/Beaumont dynasty has become a joke. Patients (or should I say customers as their hold recording says) are treated terribly! If you need a prescription refill and your pharmacy faxes the refill to them it will not get filled. If you call them and are lucky enough to get someone to actually pickup the phone they say they will send a message? A message to whom? A doctor that has to reply. I have not seen my actual doctor in a year. You are always seen by Physician Assistants. If my insurance was not so restrictive I would not be caught dead at this practice."
