"honestly, wouldn't come back here even if it was my last breath due to the lack of hospitality. if i could give 0 stars, i would. the nurses would come in to draw my blood 24/7 and all that, which is understandable bc it is needed. but don't ask me if i need anything then come back 3 hours later with nothing. then re ask me if i need anything. i already said what i needed & that was a while ago.. on top of all of that, this particular nurse (sarah i believe) went out of her way to log in on the computer that she gave me pain meds. when in reality, i didn't get any. i'm aware of the opioid crisis but if u see someone crying out bc they are in pain, u should probably take them serious. i came to the emergency side for the reason i had pain.. & i had to get emergency surgery hours later bc of it. any time i told the other nurses i was in pain, they told me they couldn't give me anything bc it was already logged in the computer that i received it, which i did not. my fiancé was even there to see all of this. completely negligent and dismissive. i try not to bash these workers bc i know how busy and difficult the job can be having to take care of a million different patients, so i try to give the benefit of the doubt. but i couldn't at this place. i was told i could only eat specific foods after my surgery and the food court kept getting it wrong giving me stuff that i was not supposed to eat. other than that, the surgeons had great hospitality & actually took me serious lol. i was supposed to be released early friday morning, but wouldn't discharge me until saturday afternoon. i had no idea when i was actually able to leave since they kept telling me i was going to but never came to. it was just a waiting and guess game. lastly, hopefully the person reading this doesn't have to go to this place on a friday night. i didn't have one nurse check on me the same day i had a full blown surgery. sorry to sound like a "karen", but i will be going to U of M next time, even if it's an extra drive."

"Terrible communication between doctors and family members. Nurses are hit or miss, some days they'll be literally amazing, other days they're inattentive and are irritated if asked anything. Not all staff are bad but roughly half can be rude, dismissive and condescending."

"The best hospital in the entire universe. They took care of me immediately they started drawing blood immediately. There was no wait time. They were really nice. They comfort me. They offered me a blanket, which small hospitals don’t even give you out days they attended my pain immediately they had a 24 hour care eye on me. They were really nice. I recommend this hospital to anyone who’s having an emergency they took care of me and I already it’s an amazing hospital and the doctors treat you like family. As soon as you enter the hospital you are greeted with love and you are taken care of immediately. Also, the police are really nice there. They make sure you are safe and ask if anything hurts, don’t forget the paramedics are also super nice. There is the firefighters best hospital in the world I recommend this hospital to anyone. I wish they had more hospital like this around the world. No lie if I’m in Canada and if I’m having a medical emergency I rather go to this hospital then go to a Canadian hospital"

"I recently went in for an elective induction on Nov 12th! I was brought in as soon as I got there. I was nervous as I was going to be a FTM! The nurses and doctors during my labor and delivery were nothing other than AMAZING! They made me feel so comfortable, heard, and were helpful & encouraging in every way. I wish I could remember their names but there were so many during my couple days being there. I would deliver here again and would highly recommend other moms deliver here as well! I had the best experience with the nurses even through the very long and painful 28hr labor I endured."
