"I came here for inflaming my spinal cord injury. I was informed the hospital was shot up earlier that day. Then proceeded by "Don't worry about it it's not that big of a deal." ???????? How is it not?? I do not feel safe anywhere anymore. I can confirm the accusation because cops were putting barriers around the hospital and stuff after I left the hospital after sitting there waiting to be seen for an hour."

"Welcome to Bronson where you have orthopedic surgeons who tell you they won't operate to relieve your pain because you're overweight. Understandable, right? How about a month later finding out your neighbor who is the same age and height is actually scheduled for the same surgery, with the same surgeon, for the same problem and it only took her 4 months from the time she presented her problem to her primary to the day she is scheduled for surgery. The first woman waited a year just for a consult. Do you want to know what the difference was between these two women? The one having surgery weighs 160 lbs more, and she has BCBS. The one denied for being "overweight" is on Medicare. You're disgusting and Bill Manns should be ashamed of himself. Go ahead and have this removed under the guise that you're protecting your patients privacy. You're still disgusting liars and I will be going to WWMT with it."

"Had to come to the ER for problems I'm not going into on a Google Review. I'm not going to complain about the wait time: that's just how it is with ER's now. What I will say is that the providers I worked with have apparently never heard the term "trauma-informed care." They had to do a procedure which was invasive and painful. No questions about whether I had any existing physical or mental/emotional trauma that they may need to know about before beginning, and then continuing the procedure. The resident and nurse working with me started out very compassionate, and made it clear I had a right to give or revoke consent. But then when it didn't go to textbook, I'm pretty sure the attending physician instructed them to just get it done, regardless of my physical or emotional pain, because their demeanor got markedly colder toward me. This is not the first time I've seen this hospital exhibit a complete lack of trauma-informed care, and clearly take the path of maximum expediency for themselves over the welfare of their patients."

"Hospital is fantastic. Food service is so far below standards, that it is pathetic. It is so difficult to get what you order. Expect 3-4 errors daily , yep on a 3 course day. Out of the 38 orders I have had 3 correct. When I spoke to management and offered to volunteer to help put orders together was told no, this happens to everybody, I was appalled and just let them know trying to be a solution not part of the problem. Now I have to watch for spit In My food etc. horrible, bring your wallet and order Uber eats or what have you. You are not a priority when trying to keep your weight up. 38 orders and only have had 3 be right. Gotta get it together or patients will be too sick to help. It doesn’t look like it is rocket science, tried to volunteer to see if maybe it was. Best of luck in managements thinking this is acceptable. It’s disgraceful."

Abbas stood out with his informative and caring approach, easing our worries with his dedication. Nurse Tara (night shift ICU nurse) with her lively spirit and kindhearted nature, added comfort to our stay. Her authentic cheerfulness uplifted our spirits, making a significant difference in our experience. Jake (morning nurse) was very friendly and his pivotal knowledge of things while we were about to discharge was outstanding. In short, the team at Bronson Methodist Kalamazoo Hospital's ICU provided outstanding care, turning a challenging situation into a manageable one with their excellent patient care. We are truly thankful."
