"The sandwiches are fine, and Im not trying to be a jerk. But the customer service here just lost me as a customer. First visit a month or so ago, we enjoyed the sandwiches, so I decided to return today and order the same. The first time, they forgot to put our side of coleslaw in the bag, which I paid for (receipt). Live 30 minutes away, so not worth returning that trip. Not a huge deal, I figured Id mention it the next time I came in. When I did, the guy making the sandwiches asked if I called about it. I didn't. I fully expected him to say, “oh my gosh! I'm sorry we screwed up. Absolutely we’ll comp that!”. He refused. I asked the clerk again at checkout, and he refused again. I was shocked a business would risk losing me as a new regular customer, by being petty over a small side of coleslaw and a few bucks.. which.. they frankly owed me. I wont return."
"Best deli sandwich I've had in a very long time. Huge portions and the price is amazing!! I will 100% be back....the lady who took my order was also very pleasant and helpful. Update 10/24/23: I've been back every week since my first order and every sandwich has still been wonderful. Our new weekly go to for a quick dinner with leftovers for lunch. And the lady that takes our order practically knows us by name now. Can't recommend them enough!"
"I was just getting out of the house. I walked into Mid Eight and I was greeted instantly. The staff is friendly, they should have a class on Customer Service. I got The Bird sandwich and WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. I love a good, juices running down your hands, type of sandwich. The best. Get their Love Spice, too! They have all local products!! Strongly recommend!!"
