"I ordered almond chicken combination a few days ago. The grease tasted a bit old. I was so hungry and too late to take it back. It gave me some indigestion and could taste it when I burped it up. It would've been great because it was cooked well. It could use some green onions, almonds and cabbage like actual almond chicken. I order lunch special about once a month. I like the chicken and vegetables. I was disappointed. They're very nice people with fast service. Food is usually tasty. I won't order this dish again."

"Have been to several Chinese restaurants in the area and this seems to be one of the best ones. Everything I tried so far has been good and the Yang Chow fried rice is amazing and worth the more premium price."

"We (family of 5) have been enjoying the food here for 8 years! We have tried many dishes and love them all. We recommend Sweet & Sour Chicken (sauce on the side), General TSO Chicken, Orange Chicken, Chicken Lo Mein, Chicken Fried Rice and the Egg Rolls are my favorite! The staff knows me by name and they truly care about every aspect of their business. Love this place!"

"We read good things about New China Moon and decided it was time to give them a try, and we’re glad we did! Finding a decent Chinese Restaurant locally in Livonia has been challenging for us. We’re pretty particular and found that we just don’t enjoy most Chinese Restaurants that are local to our residence in Livonia. Today, we got General Tso’s Chicken and Sweet & Sour Chicken. I genuinely enjoyed my General’s Chicken, and my wife was happy with her S & S Chicken. One thing odd with her chicken is there were 1-inch slices of pickle in the Sweet & Sour sauce, that’s just odd. Since we both had lunch combinations, they came with egg rolls and fried rice. I wish that I had noticed the fried rice because my dish works better with white rice. Their fried rice was jus rice cooked in Soy Sauce. No veggies, or eggs, or sesame oil, so it is more aptly considered to be soy sauce rice. Still tasty, but I would not consider it fried rice. My wife ordered the egg drop soup, and I got hot and sour. We both really enjoyed our soups! The egg rolls were OK, not great, not bad. I neglected to request spicy mustard, but they did include a single sachet of Soy Sauce and Duck Sauce for each of us. We also ordered two almond cookies and found them to be a bit on the dry side. Since it was 2:00 in the afternoon, I could understand they’d be a little dry if they had been made fresh in the morning. The place is carry-out only, which is not a deal-breaker. We live nearby, so eating at home was nice. We liked the food enough to try it again. Next time, I’ll get the Mongolian Beef!"
