"We've wanted to try Fatty Lumpkins for awhile but the few hours they're open makes it difficult to visit. We finally tried them today and boy was it a disappointment. I would really like to see a receipt from Boars Head before I believe that its the meat that Fatty Lumpkins serves. The meat was tasteless and even the light rye bread was rather bland. The sandwichs are also rather dry so if you try them ask for extra dressing/sauce. They have very few side choices to choose from. I'm unsure how they have such great reviews unless they have had all their friends and family leave positive reviews. Two stars because the staff is friendly and very nice to interact with. Needless to say we won't be back and don't recommend. Fatty you Do Not live up to the hype."
"Several of us have been here before but not in years, so we decided to stop in for lunch. I ordered the Clucky You and was very impressed - sometimes sandwiches can have too much piled on that it’s overwhelming, but this one was a great blend of flavors. We ordered a caprese salad to share (balsamic was amazing!), and for there ordered the chicken salad and hammy sandwiches which were a hit! We had a party of six, which would have hit the limit for indoor seating. It did appear that they had outdoor seating, but just a heads up!"
"I recently watched some great reviews of Fatty Lumpkins, decided to visit and they definitely lived up to those reviews! They have a couple smaller buildings and are located kind of on the edge of where residential meets commercial which automatically gave it a more homey feel to it. The owners and staff are quite friendly and engaging with customers and the menu was a bit more focused on doing a few things and doing them well.... at least based off the food I ordered! I highly recommend this place if you're ever in Muskegon and looking for a locally owned establishment"
