"Russ’ feels like a step back in time! Warm, friendly atmosphere that connects you to the local community. Kind employees. Good food and coffee… what more do you need? This location always has fresh bread baking and it smells fantastic. I appreciate the variety of soups… especially in the winter. You should really check out this spot!"
"Whenever I'm in the area I stop in and get a great meal and a slice of pie, which is always great. I enjoy walking into a place that's been around along time and see a pie case full of pies. I feel like I'm stepping into the 50s, well the 50s portrayed on TV. I consider prices fair, especially in 2023. I recommend if you ever get a chance, stop in in and give it a try, you won't be sorry."
"Sometimes the best food you can have out on the town is simple, well made, and messy. Went in for breakfast and got the bigger Dutchman meal, never having come here before, and was greeted with the best breakfast food that a homegrown restaurant could provide. Plenty of jam at the table in packs, pristine cooked bacon, a crisp English muffin and more; a wonderful meal altogether."
"Was good restaurant. Food was ok and moderately priced. Service was good and everything were clean including tables and restrooms. There was over 30mins wait time after entering name on the waitlist. I tried their meatloaf with mash potatoes and salad. Meatloaf was ok/good, not that amazing. Lot of parking available and easy to get in from both roads. Would recommend this place if you are looking for something local."
"Out on a little day, get-away stopped here to grab brunch. Was disappointed that breakfast was not offered. Even more disappointed when our appetizers came and the mushrooms and chicken strips were still cold in the middle. Once our meals came, they were still mediocre at best. The Ruben sandwich was made with cheap lunch meat. The Russ burger was tiny. The hamburger pattie didn't even fit the bun. The grilled chicken sandwich was still cold in the middle. The only thing that was warm and actually halfway decent was the 3pc chicken dinner. The coleslaw was pretty good. The mashed potatoes were cold instant potatoes. The dining room floors were dirty along with the men's bathroom. The elevator music in the bathrooms can definitely go! On the plus side, the waitress was exceptional, our cups were never empty, and she checked on us often. Stellar service, less than ok food."
