Kent Village

"I have been living here for the past two years during my time at Kent State. There are constant internet issues even if you pay for internet. The water is shut off constantly for maintenance, hours at a time. Recently the snow plow company they hire, ripped off the front bumper of my car while it was parked in the 6800 lot. The driver did not leave any contact information and the leasing office would not provide me any information about the company. I was referred to Simco's corporate office where they also refused to give me the plowing information. The man I spoke to said the person they hire to plow snow has worked with the company for 20 years and would've told him about the incident. Unfortunately Simco Management protects their business friends but not their tenants. I would not recommend living here to anyone."

"I had the privilege of calling this place home for more than 2 incredible years, and I couldn't have asked for a better living experience. From day one, it felt like more than just an apartment – it was a vibrant community that offered both comfort and convenience. Natalie, Melissa and other stuff are great people. "Loved there for a year in 2011-2012 and had a great experience. I do wish there were in unit laundry machines, but I suppose in a studio there wasn’t much room for that. Price was fair. Rooms were good. I felt safe."

"I rent a studio from here and have been living here for over a year now and I really like it. I really don’t have anything to complain about. It’s definitely an upgrade from where I lived before (university run apartments) which was almost double the price. The office staff and maintenance have always been so kind. Whenever I had a problem, maintence would stop by that day or the day after the latest to fix it. It’s a quiet complex which I like, my studio itself is pretty nice, and all utilities are included which is always a plus. The complex hosts parties with food and activities a couple times a year which I find really thoughtful because it shows they care about their residents. No other places do that. Only down side is the WiFi, it isn’t the best. It works fine for laptops and phones but for smart TVs or any video game console there’s no chance. All in all I really enjoy living here and would definitely recommend it to anyone!"

"You know I've been here since August and I absolutely love it here. The staff have always been super pleasant, and resolved any issues I may have had in a timely manner. I've not had any water issues or anything of the sort. The walls are sort of thin but I really don't care, for a poor college student living paycheck to paycheck this is like living the high life. You want silence, go to a luxury complex. Internet is sometimes iffy but you could always pay to have Spectrum or AT&AT come in and give you better connectivity, until then I'll enjoy the free wifi. I kept seeing so many bad reviews and it almost scared me away but I'm glad I checked it out and have had no issues. I love my little, but not so little, studio :)"
