"If I could give 0 stars I would. Cassandra is a homophobic prick. She withheld my deposit without any communication. One of the worst people I have ever met. The management here is more interested in Capitalist ventures than the common good of the tenant. Lived here 6 years and they never once cleaned the AC Unit, it most likely had mold in it when we moved in. I hope the housing authority in Ohio shuts this place down. Despite what they say, the experience they provide is sub pur and still section 8 at best. This place is a health hazard death trap. They did not do their best to make my living experience positive. They tried their hardest to make us feel like pariah."

"Decent apartments on the inside. Some rift raft to deal with! My best friends girlfriend C.N. lived there and ive seen the rift raft first hand. Lots of people walk from this community to the shopping mall next door thru the woods and yes ive been there and inside many times!"

"Update 6/11/2023* You get what you pay for. Kent is a lovely college town with great food, lovely river, and some unique history. As expected, living in the area, can be a little more pricey than other surrounding areas. I have lived in Jordan Court apts with my partner for 5 years now. The price isn't terrible for the location. But recently, new management has taken over. The woman in the front office Cassandra Monroe, is a selfish, greedy, and inconsiderate person. Its been one problem after the other. Our car has been broken in to multiple times, and nothing is ever done about it. They have cameras apparently, but that doesn't help. Our building had to get bombed because of fleas. The water gets shut off constantly. People constantly steal mail. My partners bike chain was broke and stolen. Dont park your bike here because they will run over it in the winter time and mangle your bike to then just leave there for years. They force you into unit upgrades without any noticable improvements. My first review was inspired by the event that happened the day of 6/03/20. We received a 24 hour notice that our parking lot was being repaved, and my car needed moved. My car must've been broken into and my emergency break was stuck. I tried to call and explain to office but no one answers. I send an email. No response. If my car isn't moved by 6 am today, it gets towed. Long story short, manager gave no concern towards my situation and insisted my car get towed and pay a fine. During these hard economic times, the new manager at Jordan Court Apts, insists on causing issues. If you were to move to the kent area, invest the extra buck in a place who's management is run butter. For perspective, our 1 bedroom was $595 in 2018/19. Then $650, then $675, now $715 with a water fee and fee to report your rent to credit bureau, with no choice to opt out. If you DO move here, insist they clean your air conditioning unit. Ours was filthy and filled with tons of mold. The list of issues here is endless. Hope this helps. Don't forget when you move here, that these used to be Section 8 housing back in the day for low income mothers and families. Now its a gentrified hamster cage. Would never recommend this place to anyone. College Towers or Indian Valley are affordable and probably managed better than here."

"I lived her 33 years ago. Loved it! Now my son just moved into the same cozy 1 bedroom floor plan. It has ample storage including a coat closet, kitchen pantry and 2 large bedroom closets! No shortage of parking here! Several dumpsters and on-site laundry rooms. Indoor mail center and your apartment door is interior! Thermostat in each room and very COLD air!! Your only utility is electric. While this is not a "luxury apartment" with a disposal, dishwasher etc. it is a great economical option. Jordan Court Apartments is an excellent place to live if you are seeking a quiet, safe community on a budget with a pool!"

"I love this place. My girlfriend and I have lived here for two years and moved from a smaller apartment to a bigger one after the first year. The management is friendly and conversational and is willing to solve any problems I have. The maintainence is punctual and respectful of my privacy. We did have a few issues including slow renovation of the second apartment that delayed our move-in, our cat getting lost inside a wall because maintenance left a panel open, and bed bugs when moving into the new, bigger apartment, but all of those issues were, to the management’s credit, handled swiftly and professionally. It’s an excellent price for the space, is within very short distance of plenty of food, banks, shopping, entertainment, gas stations, the KSU campus, and I-76 and SR 261."
