"Beautiful property! The pictures don't do justice! The leasing office isn't the best although if you can get in there, then do so and snatch up on of these beautiful apartments immediately!!"

"All about money. No care in the world for consistent, paying tenants. Everything here you pay extra for, (even if you unintentionally lose your laundry CARD; that’s right, no quarters). Overall, would not recommend living in this facility."

"New ownership is unbearable. Would not recommend staying. I am here currently and quickly looking for somewhere to move to. Company that took over immediately raised rent 25-40% across the board. Just last week they announced that our water bill this month would be a flat rate of $100 and $50 per unit going forward, 2-3x my normal water usage. They rationalized this to me by saying the water meters weren't working right. I had to go into the office to speak to someone as they have refused to answer a phone call since they put this notice out. They will also not answer website posts on their crummy little web portal. Scumbag thieves who arbitrarily change rules, costs and fees whether or not it is written on an active lease."

"I am a current resident at the Village on South Carpenter and I would not recommend moving here. When I first moved in (April 2021) the property manager told me that I would be paying my water bill through my rent each month. When the new management company took over in the Summer of 2022, they explained that I would have to create my own account and pay my water bill separately. I had no issues with this until March 1st rolls around and I receive a bill for almost $400! I reached out the water company and they explained that the sub-meter and repeater in my unit was not working properly from mid-June 22 to the end of Feb. 23. They told me that I was paying the fixed rate for 8 months, which I had no idea since I was paying this through my rent. I asked them why they did not come out to fix this issue and they told me the property manager would have to request services for them to come out. The property manager knew that there was an issue but did not want to pay for the water company to come out and due to their negligence, I am now stuck with this hefty bill. I have tried to reach out to them twice through email to try and resolve this but they have been unresponsive. To top it all off, they did not give a 60 day notice when they raised my rent $95, like they should have... they let me know 30 days in advance... which doesn't give a whole lot of time for someone to find a new place! This new management company does not know what they are doing and I would avoid this place at all costs."
