"Someone was shot and killed here a week ago and the police blotter mentioned the apartments by the old name, State Hill Manor. It is in fact West Creek Heights now. The management sent out messages to residents saying there was an incident and they would follow up on information at a later time. Management never got back to the residents. They try everything they can to take you for your money they are not here to help people. This is a money hungry apartment complex that screws everyone over on their security deposit and tried to charge us $30/month for "reserved" parking. They are now making everyone pay for water without prior knowledge and changed that detail in the lease without discussing it with people first. Also they can't control the heaters and it gets extremely hot in your unit for weeks at a time. Don't move here or you WILL be sorry. Also someone else had their catalytic converter stolen off their vehicle as well. Also none of the pictures this place has posted is of the actual property at all except the first one of the front of the building. Never before have I dealt with such a dishonest company. They refuse to provide individual meter readings for each resident after forcing us to pay the water bill. It is an increase of $70/ month. That is almost 10% the total cost of rent. They are thieves here. I am one guy in a one bedroom apartment and they are making me split the water bill with the entire building. The person above me has like five people living there. They charge us $5 per load of laundry and now they are passing the cost of the water down to residents for that as well. It is so sad, frustrating, and disgusting that the wealthy property owners are trying to take as much as they can from lower to middle class hard working people. I am curious if 90 degree heat that you can't control in your unit can qualify for negligence? Now they are no longer accepting payments for rent unless you go through their specified app. They claim it is to reduce their carbon footprint lol. If they really cared at all about the environment they would offer residents recycling services and clean up the litter all around the property. This place treats residents as if they are children or their employees and treats nobody with respect. And I had to come back here to point out that the company finally figured out how to respond to all this after months without a reply. Talk about commitment to grievances."

"Very much run down apartment, the balcony look like you’ll fall right through it. The leasing office is RUDE they don’t care to show you around they have snotty attitudes apartment don’t look none like the pictures, seem like they renovated 1 unit & posted it making it seem like that’s what all the units look like. They need to watch who they hire to work for them because them ladies ain’t there for none but a check can care less about the property and who lives there"

"They changed my move in date the day I was supposed to move in. They gave me a run down unit with more issues than I can count. I currently have 7 service requests that are being ignored including installing fire and carbon detectors in my unit. The bugs in here are ridiculous and they won’t do anything about it. Staff is rude. There’s a 12.50 fee for not having renters insurance every month. I have renters insurance and I’m still being charged for it even after multiple emails and calls to get it removed. This is the worst place I’ve ever lived. I have lived here 6 months and my toilet doesn’t flush and my sink handle is not connected. There’s mold in the bathroom vanity which I got sick because of. They won’t come remove it. The internet was not available in my unit so I had to pay to get lines ran. DO NOT LIVE HERE!"

"*Forced me out of my current lease w/ previous owners Raised rent $40.00 per month after they said All current leases were being accepted! Allied Property Management took over State Hill Manor Apartments March 2022 Changed Name of property to West Creek Heights They are just the Property Management Company Not Owners Within their 1st month on property they put a Notice on my door stating i have a Past Due Balance totaling $850.00 payable Immediately! I emailed Allied was told they are looking into issue and trying to clean up from previous owners??? I told them send me Print out on my account showing im Past Due. Received a notice back saying Nothing owed? A few months after that I received a notice on my door 3 DAY EVICTION NOTICE? I Called Office talked with Terra she said it is because I have not signed a New lease with Allied?! I told her that when they took over they sent out a notice saying they will accept all current leases from previous Owners?! My lease is not up untill January it was currently August i have 4 months left. Terra said They Allied Wants New lease That was because they were Increasing Rents $40.00 per month So what was i to do? So i accepted and played their game! It was their way of getting Rent Increases out of people that were forced to Renew. The New lease renewal Increased rent $5.00 per month. But Blessed Us with $68.20 water/ sewer bill that Never was Explained or told to us when it will take effect or the amount of Billing, again a notice put on doors stating Allied will start Billing for Water never anything about Sewer? Below are charges as of August 2023 Billing One bedroom 1 person $68.20? One bedroom 2 people $68.20? ( Same cost?) I Asked Jess in Office said priced by" Foot print" of Apartment? Has nothing to do with # of Tenants??? Was lied to and Also told by Jess that billing company set rates??? (How Stupid does that sound?) I called billing company was told Allied came up with pricing! (That i believe) As of date of this review Lawn service / Grass cutters have Stopped services. Rumor has it that they have Not received $$$ Payment. Started painting balconies on building Painters STOPPED have not Received Payment $$! About 30 percent got painted! All Office Staff does is jamm Notices in doors on: When rent should be Paid! How rent Should be Paid! So called Bug/ Pest inspections Notice to enter suite to find water leak in building ( 3 months / 3 notices on that) That water leak was Repaired by City of Cleveland Water Dept. Out front on State rd. It was Repaired - BELIEVE ME WE ARE PAYING THE PRICE NOW! This property has lost 2-3 Office Staff lost 2-3 Maintenance Staff lost 2 Regional Managers Issues? Yes we have them! Doors that don't close* Doors that don't lock* These are the safety Security Doors on building*. Old Furniture left in parking lot by Dumpsters some Items have been there over 2.5 months. Parking issues: Tenants / Guest parking how they want /where they want Even over riding in Handicap spots Have Complained to Terra in Office ( The" BIG " Property Manager! ) Was Told things will change when they Resurface parking lot and Restripe parking lines! We Don't pay the lawn maintenance Company what makes"Me" think they will spend BIG $$ doing Parking lot Repaving and line striping?? The latest flyer in doors was They want rent paid Online Only - No Checks No Money orders. Even though Lease States rent can be paid by Check/ Money Order Or Online portal. This is just a Small portion of the issues that Allied and the wonderful Office Staff has created on just this property, I'm sure their Games are played on All the Properties they manage? Just read their Reviews On 20 reviews at least 19 are Bad Oh by the way! Do Not be Pulled in by their Web site saying 1 bedrooms $785.00 because they will say that unit has just been rented! We have 1 bedrooms at $840.00 per month plus all the other fees/ charges. I know because i have had people check that out!! Anyway all i can say is; Renter Beware!!"

"Moved here recently and I love this place!! I see a lot of people have made reviews on here stating otherwise but you have to think about the fact that most people that leave reviews only have negative things to say. I’m sure the majority that live here are people like me that have no issues with the place but simply don’t feel the need to leave a review. That’s why I’m coming to vouch for my experience. Where I live in the complex is very peaceful and quiet. My washer and dryers work perfectly and it’s very rare that I go to do laundry, and they are occupied. The residence around the building that I live keep the parking lot clean and I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with them. Have some patience guys!! There is way worse out there. Also, Jess is amazing. It’s so nice to be able to have a friendly kind hearted person in the office that you rent from."
