"I'm giving it a low star because what I was told over the phone about how much the apartment was and how much I had to make to get approved was one thing and then when we got there she saw us and that information changed. The apartment was small and dirty the hallway wasn't clean and there was. A small smell(I understand in an apartment building different people/cultures etc) She didn't even give us the chance to fill out the application, when running a business they should never judge a book by its cover... Very disappointed"

"So now that I've moved I gotta say it's a decent place and neighbors are usually nice. Maintenance does a great job and are really friendly. On the negative side the place attracts bugs. While me and my friend were living there weve had ants bedbugs and gnats. So keep that in mind when moving in. Also note the rent goes up every year and if you want to use the garages they don't have walls separating the garages. But other then those issues it's decent."

"I've been with Midpark for 3 years now. The apartments are good size, there is laundry in each building reasonably priced. Most of the people here are very nice which is good. Parking is horrendous however you can pay for an apartment and not have a spot to park. Was also informed unless you have a garage you are not guaranteed parking. So paying rent to live here does not justify a place to park. Trash and snow removal have slowed with new management. They keep raising rent but there have been no upgrades that I'm aware of. Management is nice but passive, they don't resolve troubles timely. Maintenance is very good though, Brian is phenomenal and they handle emergent issues with great speed. He is very nice and kind, and he goes above and beyond for his tenants. Apartments have a gas stove, but no dishwasher and outdated appliances. Good neighborhood just needs some improvement"

"Overall the property is okay. Some bad plowing last year with the major snow. And by bad plowing I mean lack of plowing. Management is nice and wants to help and be accommodating. Maintenance is friendly. The buildings need remodeled bad. Outdated, cracks in the foundation and holy hell spiders. I am subground in this unit but its not my first apartment here. Other family lives here too. Horrible amount of spiders every day. Management does have the exterminators come for the grounds and at my request come in and spray my apartment personally and theres no charge for it but this last time it doesn't seem to have done anything. I just had to vacuum my apartment at 8pm because a yellow sack spider was crawling on me in my recliner and I flung it on the floor. This place has everything they need to be a great residence except for the ability to keep bugs out of people's apaetment. Maybe if they remodel and get foundations fixed it'll be worth 5 stars."

"My 89 year old mother in law lives here. She recently had the window to her car broken when someone broke into the garage and vandalized 11 cars. The garages have no dividing walls so if someone leaves their garage unlocked then they can gain access to all the cars in that building. Very convenient for a thief since they can take their time stealing because no one can see them. I think there should be a nighttime security officer or at the very least a good modern camera system. I understand there is a cost for a security officer but having one at least part time would be a good investment for them. A decent camera system doesn't cost that much either. She also had raw sewage flood her apartment while she was on vacation. Upon her return management replaced her carpet, but we had to move everything. They also did nothing about the water that was under her kitchen cabinets, nor did they move her stove and refrigerator and sanitize. After a call and compliant from me they came and changed her cabinet doors that were soaked with raw sewage, but that was all. Since so many seniors live there I think each building should have enough handicapped parking spaces to accommodate the number of seniors that reside in that particular building. Seniors should have access to the spots closest to the doors, especially in the winter. That doesn't cost them anything. Ultimately, it's a good deal in Middleburg Heights but could be much better."
