"It’s a waste of time even applying here . I was told that I’d have a move in date and rent amount by the end of that week 7 months ago ! I’ve had to return in bank statements and everything else because they weren’t sent to the compliance office in time by the apartment manager . Every week I call the office manager tells me she’ll have the move in information the week after and here it is months n months later .. It’s most definitely been past the waiting time which was 1- 11/2 years .. it’s been 2 and some change .."

"Recently my sister and her two small children were out of town. They received a call from the manager at her apartment complex stating her upstairs apartment was on fire. She asked when she would be back and my sister was unable to get a ride back until a few days later. The manager stated they would have her a replacement apartment upon her return. However, when she return they wanted her to write a letter stating what happen. My sister advised how could she as to she was not there. They stated the fire department stated it was her fault due to something she had plugged in, an electrical fire. My sister explained everything she had plugged in was plugged in for the several years she has stayed there. They didn’t care, they put her and her two kids out without notice. Everything in her apartment was damaged either die to smoke or water from them putting out the fire. I believe it was because she didn’t have rental insurance being that the manager asked her that prior to meeting with her. It should be noted my sister has lived here 7 years no issues. She was unable to work this last year due to Covid. The apartment complex knew that because it’s based off her income and they dropped her rent to zero. Now she’s homeless with no where to go from the sudden termination of her lease. At a time like this how can these people do such a thing with a minor and her two minor children! I have called the owners located in Illinois with no avail. Update! 3/25 my sister had to go get her belongings out of the apartment just to find some of her items were missing and her stuff was rummage through. I called the property manager, she is just as incompetent and rude as Christine. She said it was a mistake and maintenance had brought her microwave over to the office...:sounds like theft! They changed the locks on her, gave her the run around to get the salvageable items and then they tried to steal some things! Great job!"

"They don’t hold up with their word on anything. They will tell you it will be a 9 month wait period depending on what you’re looking for and then when that time comes and you call then and ask what is going on form them not contacting you they say that they did send out a letter but in reality they didn’t and you don’t have a piece of paper stating that they did in fact send out a letter. Don’t even bother to fill out an application. It is pointless. Also the District Manager told me and my fiancé what we said didn’t really matter what mattered is what is in front of them."

"I have lived here for 4 years now as of date and little by little bit by bit stuff has broken, came off hinges l, basement leaks when it rains... They have literally lists of things that needs fixing. Employees in the office change so much. I moved here for better living and schooling for my kids... This is slowly turning a mishap, I have put in multiple times for things to get fixed and yet have the same issues that I had moving in will get fixed and now the same the same issues have been going on for 4 years if I could move in immediately I would if I had the funds.... It's a good location for school and some work people in the office change what seems like on a regular. if I have to live in HUD I rather live in HUD where there's no problems no issues and everything is fixed like it's said it going to be"

"I have lived here since 2015 and it is nice . The parents need to watch their children more, but overall it has been alright. The police ride around a lot and that is comforting to me. This is a great starting place when you are trying to get back on your feet from a hit from life. Management has changed hand twice seen I been here and there has been a new wave of families that have moved in and the children are out of control. There is knocking on my door at different times of the day and running in the hallways with yelling from these unmind children. The parents only show up when you say something to their child. This use to be a quite area and that is why I wanted to be here. The swings was replace at the beginning of the month and by the middle of the month these children had tore them down. I have reported this problem to management yet nothing is really done, I think someone will have to get hurt or serious damage to the building before some change happens. If you find yourself having to move here beware of the unmind children and keep a eye on yours if you have any. I never had a problem getting maintenance here to take care of issues. The people in the office and I never had issues. I just wish they would get a manager that will do something about these children being let out to disturb the peace of others. Looking for another place to live."
