"I never signed a contract or lease, and the apartment wasn't even ready yet when I decided to stay in my current apartment complex. I was told that I was not entitled to get my deposit back "because they were holding it for me". According to Ohio law, this is not correct. Nothing was signed, and I am entitled to get my $300 deposit back. Steer clear of this place. Very questionable business ethics, if not illegal. I am editing my review 1/2/24 in response to the Owner's response-if you are truly sorry, can I get a refund for the $300 I am entitled to that I lost? Once I again, according to Ohio law, you are in violation."

"Im a college student who has lived at WT in Findlay for two years now. It hasn't been "bad", but there are definitely some things to keep in mind if you're looking rent here. Cons: - The noise levels aren't bad from neighbors on the sides, but if you've got a noise upstairs or downstairs neighbor, you're going to be hearing a lot of noise, so thats not super great. - The floors tend to creak and not be super stable/move a little bit in some areas if youre in an apartment that is over the basement area (like mine is) - Smoking is allowed in the apartments, and I had to move from my first apartment after about a week due to my downstairs neighbor smoking indoors constantly and making my apartment smell terrible - If you don't like kids, this isn't the place for you. I live next to two families with small children who enjoy screaming directly outside my back door. The kids will play on the 2ft of concrete directly outside your apartment, so dont expect to be able to sit outside and enjoy any nice weather - The pool is unusable until around July, so you only get it for half of the summer - When moving in, make sure you dont have any large/bulky furniture. The way that the doors are set up, there is no way to get a normal sized couch into the upstairs apartments through the front door. And if you manage to get it into the bedroom through the back door, you won't be able to get it into the living room. - Pictures dont do it justice, the kitchen is TINY with absolutely NO storage space. Also in the smaller 1-bedroom, there is no space to have both a table and a couch and a desk, as there isn't enough room - If your upstairs neighbor likes to take baths, expect to have water running down your walls and ruining the bathroom ceiling - Depending on the time of year, the back bedroom either gets unbearably hot or ridiculously cold - The rent gets more and more expensive every year, no clue why Pros: - maintenance is really nice and fixes issues quickly - basically instant, super hot water - the heat works good, so does the AC - unless you've got a loud upstairs/downstairs neighbor, its really quiet in the apartment - the closets are HUGE - the laundry facilities are great, and always super clean - theres always more than enough parking space, which is definitely a plus Again though, its not bad of a place to live. Most people work or are students, so nobody's really around during the day. If you can deal with the cons, which I feel like are pretty standard for apartment living, then you're good."

"Havent had the pool all summer so far. Lease up end of July. Wanted me to sign a new lease and raised the rent. Some rules apply to sum but not all. I wouldn't recommend living here."
