"On day 2 of our road trip, we were hoping to avoid the morning Cincinnati traffic, so we woke up at 500am to start our road trip to Toronto. Unfortunately, we also picked up a large aluminum shard on I-75 and quickly started to lose air. We managed to make it 3 miles from the time we noticed we had low tire pressure to a shell station off the highway to get air in the tire. We got out looked at the tire; it was flat. As much air as we were putting in, the hole was leaking the same amount out. We walked across the street to Xtreme Tire as the owner was opening. He explained they don’t open until 800am which was an hour away. He called an employee to come in early and plug our flat. We didn’t even ask how much it would cost; desperation and helplessness (3 kids in the backseat), trumps all of my sensibility. Knowing Firestone 2 miles away charged $40 (which is high), I was prepared to pay at least that amount. Once they plugged the tire, my husband asked the staff how much it was. Everyone refused to accept any money from us. They just wanted us safe. Wouldn’t take a tip or even lunch for later in the day. Truly, a God story from us. We live in Georgia, so we have never wanted stop or stay any longer than the time it took us to drive through Ohio. But within 5 minutes from the time we had our sensor warning us we had low tire pressure to the time it was flat we drove across the street from Xtreme Tire, LLC. We can’t thank you enough, for your XTREME kindness and thoughtfulness."
