Valvoline Instant Oil Change

"Not sure about posting here as I don't want to speak about my thoughts on lies from others lips. ( which was theirs) I was nervous, never been there. Also in a vehicle I just recently purchased. At first, it seemed extraordinary. This many people working, all to help...right? Suddenly, my battery wasn't up to charge. Why? No battery light indicator on, always starts up immediately. They unplugged it. To check for sure of course. Never had one inkling of this, not one off sound, not any indication. After I refused a new one, One worker said, " invest in battery cables"! He also said, "leave your car running when you go inside anywhere". Which of course made me paranoid, with winter coming. WTH, I Took it straight back to my dealer! My battery is fine. I paid 128 for an oil change there including 50 for wiper blades which btw, still streaks. They told me only 1 size available for my car. and I guess it wasn't good enough, tried to get me for 180 for a battery????? Pat your employees on the back for trying, I'll never go back. It's sad that the only place close (that I thought to trust), has one person that looked genuine. And really, how do I even know they were changing the oil underneath me in my car, no one bothered to show me my oil filter. I kept getting asked, this and that, being sidetracked. They didn't even show me my air filter. Or talk to me about tire pressure, especially with the changing temperature around us. They said they checked it. There were 5 people in front of my vehicle, 2 inside the main store to my left , passing through, and a few going back and forth to my right, who was underneath? Did they really change my oil? My receipt doesn't mention an oil filter, was it even changed????? I'd love to talk to management regarding this. I know I'll be ignored. I feel bad that I even had to post this,"

"Guys were great and very prompt. Did a fantastic job getting my truck ready for the long Memorial Day weekend. No pressure upsales. Started taking my other vehicles in for service due to super quick service and not need to schedule on advance."

"I was sitting in there for about an hour and a half. The staff kept looking at me clueless. There was a point they even forgot about me, mind you I was inside of the garage and they were working on me then disappeared for a while. I went in there for a oil change and I didn’t see them put not one drop of oil in my car, yet I was charged around $80. I know they didn’t do something right because it had been less than 30 days since I been and my oil light is on. To be fair, the times I’ve been to this specific location my service was good. But when I went this time everyone looked new and confused. I normally go to a different location and I love it, but I’ll never be visiting this location again because of there extreme lack of experience. I don’t know much about cars at all, and I was nervous because I felt like they new just as much as I did."

"Based on these reviews, I went there 30min ago with my Jeep. They were fantastic. I asked for synthetic oil change, and they showed how bad my air filter was so I got that replaced. They topped off all fluids and a problem with acceleration I've been having for weeks is now gone! I was about to take it to the dealership and they charge $180 just to inspect the issue and I paid less to get it fixed here! Will definitely be back to do much more to maintain my Jeep at this location. Great place. Very professional and thorough."

"Came in to get an oil change for my truck I need to take a 2,5 hr trip north! Oil change was fine! But they could not get the hood to close ! After 20 mins a guy brought us a broken spring , the hood was closed when we got there ! Service manager Jeff told us to go to auto zone buy the part and he would put it on ! Did so got back Jeff bolted ! He was gone ! Called the general manager he suggested we find a mechanic we can trust ! Truck can’t be driven in fear the hood will fly up ! I now have to rent a vehicle to take my trip ! I’m livid because I have to rent a vehicle when I have a perfectly maintained vehicle but the spring is now broken ! They won’t help !"
