Glenmoor Country Club

"I had my baby shower here in November. I ordered 23 plates of food and had 7 extra for no shows. They gave us 2 of them but did not ask us if we wanted the other 5. They charged us for those 5 meals we were never sold. When I called they said I ordered them to be thrown away. Who would ask to throw away food? Also they moved hundreds of dollars of desserts for my shower and I left without them and came back 20 mins later and they said I ordered them to throw them away. Glenmoor is a rip of, outdated, liars, scam artists. Bad service and poor communication. Stay away unless you want ripped off and lied to."

"Wildly unprepared for a cold fall wedding weekend. While the grounds and landscaping were beautiful, it ended there. We were guests at a wedding and were staying for the weekend, 2 nights. The codes online for wedding block didn’t work, and had to call to make reservation. This was the experience of many in our immediate group. Fine, minor inconvenience. Upon arrival, reservations for the group we were traveling with were messed up, partially missing a room. Luckily the hotel was no longer full and the family was moved to a suite. But by doing this they displaced other wedding guests who arrived the next day, and they happened to be in the actual bridal party. They then called a family member on the second night we were there at 11pm asking if they were going to be checking in, mind you they told this person the day before they didn’t have a reservation. Also, don’t be alarmed when they tack on a $6/day fee for the gate and don’t disclose this upon check in or making reservation. The entire inn really is outdated, not in a historically charming way. Probably time to join the white bed linens and towels era to aid with bleaching/cleaning. The windows had legitimate holes in the encasements and would not close all the way. The whole building smelled like sewage on the day of the wedding as sinks backed up. Sinks constantly dripped, shower felt like a trickle of water not to mention feeling like the whole thing was going to collapse into the floor below. The venue was completely unprepared and unaccommodating for the 40° temps. The cocktail hour under the tent should have been closed up to trap heat and maybe a portable heater or two, not to mention block the violinist from being rained on. The reception room was freezing, blowing cold air, all the women had on the men’s coats, uncomfortably cold for many patrons, it was the topic of conversation the whole night. Luckily the bride and groom are absolute shining lights and we’re beautiful despite the issues and the dance party was great."

"Horrible service from the event coordinator. She was very rude and distasteful. Ridiculous fees for unreliable transport and service. Horrible communication between the employees. Wanted us to clean up the wedding 15 minutes after it ended. Photos were supposed to be on a golf course but were on a muddy bridge. They also touched our belongings in the dressing room while we were at the wedding. Also no service in the dressing rooms at all."

"We all enjoyed an exceptional day of golf at Glenmoor Country Club. The golf course was in great shape with fast greens and an abundance of great views. All of the staff were extremely welcoming, especially the F&B department. We hope to return soon for another FUN and challenging day. Thank you Glenmoor Country Club, definitely Canton Ohio's classiest Country Club."

"I have seen other amazing country clubs, but not like this club. Glenmoor is a wonderful place that hosts amazing golf with beautiful rooms and wonderful hospitality. I was fortunate enough to take part in their annual Special Operations Warrior Foundations golf celebrity tournament "Rocking with the Seals" with amazing Rock Stars and active and retired Navy Seals. A great cause. A great concert and great golf. Always look forward to going back and seeing this beautiful club."
