"Compliment and thanks to Mahlia, a sales clerk for her time and compassion. While I was looking through a sale rack of cloths, I felt my ring slip off. This ring was special, because it belonged to my grandmother. I was frantically looking for it. I even crawled across the floor. Mahalia, who was putting out stock saw me and kindly asked if she could help. She even moved the racks. She finally found my ring, which has fallen into ta pockets. I blessed her and offered her a reward. She would not rake anything but my thanks. I am so thankful for her help. And taking the time and extra effort to help me. Coodos to her kindness."

"I love this store! I love the shoes and clothes! I live about 40 mins away but I come up and get a hotel room every now and then just to come here but the last few times, I’ve felt really uncomfortable by, who I can only assume, is loss prevention workers. I love to shop and I take my time cuz god forbid I miss a sale on garden hoses or contact solution, so maybe that’s why I get followed and peeked at from around shelves so much lately. I don’t steal so normally, when these things occur, I go slower, or dance around, or give my friend a really long, inappropriate kiss, just to get a giggle but this last time a man followed and watched my every move so closely that I just dropped my things and walked out! I was so embarrassed because other customers were noticing me being watched! Everyone has a job to do but that was ridiculous!"

"This store always feels dirty compared to the other Gabes stores that I go to. I've never been to a place where no one is smiling, and it seems like nobody who is there even wants to be working there! guess it goes to show the younger generations work mentality. You may find a manager that is helpful however the manager i was talking to was anything but friendly. The other day i was shopping for my grandfather and tried asking the manager a question but she was too busy gossiping to a coworker to even acknowledge my existence and once she finally had the time to spare she turned around and kept being rude to me and kept trying to walk away as if me asking a question was somehow putting her day to ruin. Once i finally had enough and confronted her she goes on to claim that she's been here for years and that's how she has always ran her store and that i'm more than welcome to go to a different store to find what i'm looking for!!! Even when i tried to check out the lines are 20 minutes long because there were only 2 cashiers. This location has really gone down if thats how employees treat their most loyal customers."

"Hit or miss in finding what you are looking for. They have a huge variety of items including for dogs. They always get great seasonal items with good pricing. My reason for a four rating, could be cleaner and more organized."

"Customer service was good, store was being well kept with how busy they were, lines were long, but it's the holiday.. please have patience with those working retail! This store has a TON of options.. from bedding to shoes, lingerie to dog collars, home decor, food and so much more. You can always find a unmarked deal. Found a pair of headband ears for .25! Gabe's is like a treasure hunt if you have the time to explore. They also have some cool and interesting food options at check out."
