Plato's Closet Sylvania

"I’m a frequent shopper at many Plato’s Closet locations. My job requires tons of travel and I always manage to find one near by. My Wife and daughters love their large selection of clothes and shoes. With that being said… I hate that upon arrival I wasn’t greeted or spoken too. I was at the location for about 20 minutes without a single word or acknowledgment. Even as I left the store, no one said goodbye or acknowledged me. That was very disappointing…. I planned to spend a few bucks, but decided against it. I normally have good interactions at Plato’s Closet, so I won’t let this occurrence ruin my perception of the company. Toledo Plato’s Closet… please do better!"

"Terrible. I took in a whole basket of clothes that had 14 pairs of American eagle jeans as well as other tops. We had to wait two hours for them to sort through it just to come back and have them say they couldn’t take a single piece clothing due to being “outdated” and “too worn”. The clothes were barely worn and they jeans were very nice. But they can sell off brand Birkenstocks with nasty toe prints in them?! How is that not used? Please, enlighten me. I will never return to this store. The staff is way too stuck up and rude."

"I've sold to platos all over for the last 10 years. I brought in 2 full bins to this location and they took 2 items total.. offering me $10. Lowest offer ive sver gotten. Seems extremely picky considering the junk thats on the racks. Anything of value is overpriced. Employees don't know what they're doing and obviously need guidance. Go to Perrysburg. Also want to add I took the same exact items to another platos the next day and they took almost 40 items. It's not me, it's you."

"You should worry more about your staff when the city is under a level 2, and you are not essential. Driving conditions are very unsafe. I hope whoever made the decision to be open is also in the store today, that would only be fair after putting all these kids and managers at risk on the roads, especially when some of your staff are parents with young kids. I don't even see there being enough sales today to afford to pay your staff and keep the lights on. Not caring about your staff's safety and also opening when you know you will have terrible sales is not a smart business move. At least Columbus locations are being smart, I wish Toledo would take notes from whoever is in charge down south."
