"My mother could have lost her life due to the poor care and negligence of this company. I would NOT recommend them for WOUND CARE. If your family member has a wound vac, i would go with a more highly skilled and trained agency. Diabetic wounds are very serious and can turn quite quickly. I had an RN come to the house that DID NOT inspect my mother's entire foot which led to a NEW wound. They were not putting the vac on properly. I found the new wound myself because my mother was complaining of excruciating pain.. I showed a Loving Care RN and they said it LOOKED AND SMELLED like it was infected yet they did NOT advise us to go to the hospital. I ended up taking my mother at 3am in the morning and her foot was SO infected she went into SEPSIS. The infection went in her bloodstream and infected her LUNGS. We were in the hospital for many weeks close to Christmas. She was in ICU. What kind of RN says a wound looks infected and doesn't advise a DIABETIC patient to go to the ER right away?! What kind of training do they get at this company?! They should be SUED. My mother could have died. The infection went to the bone, and she was very close to losing her foot! They had to do two surgeries on her foot to clean out the infection.. All because the LovingCare staff and their negligence. I would NOT recommend them for WOUND CARE. I have Mount Carmel coming now and i see a MAJOR difference in the quality of practice. Loving Care is very poor when it comes to wound vac's.. We had them long enough to know. Do your loved one a favor and pick a HIGHER QUALITY care service. It may save them their life!"
