"I was a patient of Dr Spahn's for 15 years when I resided in Ohio. He always took the time to listen to any and all concerns that I may have had and always conducted himself with professionalism and compassion. He delivered 3 of our grandchildren of which one of those deliveries was a very serious one because the baby was stuck in the birth canal and the surgery staff had left for the day but he handled the delivery with the utmost knowledge and skill! Today our granddaughter is a healthy 20 year old. I will always be eternally grateful for how he conducted himself under extreme pressure in such a dangerous situation. Although I have relocated to Southern Virginia I would seriously consider moving to North Carolina just to be under his care again !"

"Would stay far far away. As a medical professional, I know my rights as a patient and he does not want to respect those rights at all. He is a liar. He lied about me needing to have my baby before midnight the date of my projected due date. After his bullying didn't work, I went for a second opinion. He informed the hospital I transferred to that I had proteins in my urine which I NEVER did. This is part of his scare tactics so that he can give birth to babies exactly on HIS "estimated delivery date." I know this because: 1. The nurse in HIS office told me it was a "good thing there were no proteins in my urine." 2.I took at home tests throughout the course of my pregnancy and ALL tests showed absolutely no signs of protein. 3. The hospital I was transferred to also tested for protein and found NONE. And my files that I requested were never given to me, that alone is a sue-able offense, in direct violation of HIPPA. I can totally see why according to the previous reviews that he is being sued. He is arrogant, rude, and not a professional by any standards. Also, let's not forget that he is a service provider. Therefore, you can choose whether or not to continue to see him and you can choose if he catches your baby or not. "This is a free country.""

"If I could I would give Mitchell Spahn no stars. I wouldn't even call him a doctor he's a quack. I unfortunately had to see him due to my doctor going on maternity a month before I delivered. I had specific instructions in my file of what I wanted done before I delivered, I did this before my other two deliveries as well and all was good. I even asked multiple times and he refused. I am the one who ended up paying for it in the end not him! This is an extremely arrogant man who should never had been allowed to get his license. I am a firm believer that some men just as women should not be doctors for the opposite sex as some do not understand what the opposite sex goes through on certain things. If I can give any advice stay away from this quack as he doesn't care about your well being nor how you feel about things. I am hoping that with the multiple lawsuits against him right now that he gets fired and loses his license for good."

"If I could give it no stars I would! I was pregnant and 8 mins late for my consultant appt and they shoved me out the door telling me to reschedule. Then the consultant calls me as I'm upset to reschedule and I voice that I was upset I missed my appt and hung up. So I get a call back from Shari and was told I wasn't a good fit and told to go somewhere else! I said so I'm forbidden to go here and she says no but then wouldn't schedule me a appt?! Really?! Then tells me I'll call you back in a hour I need to talk to some people and see what we could do...no call back! So I guess instead of the Dr's running the office it's the people in the office and if you talk or look at them wrong your out!! NO CONCERN FOR MY UNBORN BABY AT ALL!!"

"Great doctor! He was my doctor through out both of my pregnancies and delivered my daughter. Also done my partial hysterectomy a few years ago. Very highly recommend Dr. In my book! He was very professional, showed concern and done a great job at his work!"
