"Dr. Kay has been my son’s gastroenterologist for six years. She has provided amazing care, therapy options, has helped to facilitate access to other departments, when needed, and treats my son as an adult and the patient (not talking to “mom”). She is firm with him, when needed, and offers encouragement other times. Dr. Kay and her staff, Denise and others, are truly part of our extended family. We joke about her coming to his wedding (and when that happens, she will be invited!!). We are so grateful to have you in our lives. ❤️"
"Run.... To any other doctor in this department but this one. We love the Cleveland Clinic Peds GI team and have seen most other providers in that group except this one. She’s Severely lacking communication skills, evasive, unwilling to answer questions and just all around left us pretty frustrated with the care received. She never once spoke to our daughter and dodged the questions we asked. Apparently her role is mostly administrative and she sees few patients. I understand why. She just happened to be on call when our child needed care. Our first disappointment with the Cleveland Clinic Pediatric GI team."
