"This place is terrible. There were good nurses and assistants obviously, but the bad crushes the good. The two reviews that pointed out lack of communication were right. Rude nurses is right. The night shift is the worst. Rude, blurting out what's going on with other patients and laughing about it. Don't talk about your years of experience like it's a milestone to profession if you're not professional! Healthcare is about compassion and empathy for the patient, regardless of their insurance, ability to pay or how they ended up there! Physical Therapist deserve an A grade. Occupational Therapist deserve a B grade. The mundane food deserves a C minus. The Nurse Manager was good and accommodating for our need to be there overnight. Grade B. The petty vindictiveness of the nurses our last night, and the cold heartless stares from the lady that did the linen (let that sink in) deserves a Grade F. You can't lecture the parent of the patient on what they could or should do, if that was the expectation it should have been stated day one not day 21. While 10 of those were COVID isolation days for parent and patient! **edit*** PT/OT were great, but if you need food order out. I bought fish and almost choked on the bone. Bought a cup of fruit, and it tasted like fish! If your loved ones can go elsewhere send them by all means stay away from this place. 12/07/23 thru 12/27/23 and 1/16/24."

"The best day we had at Metro was the day my son left. Zero compassion. Zero communication between staff members, caregivers, patients & patients family. No one was ever on the same page. Very rude staff members. Therapists were great but overall, definitely not a place where anyone can expect significant growth unless several changes are made to the environment of the whole facility."

"The only good thing in this place is the therapist. Nursing, aids are careless specially Night Shift I had to stay with my husband every night and the staff were always on their phone and sleeping"

"Front desk 3rd floor at physical therapy department refused to help an elderly patient to check in. She told the patient to go downstairs and check in there because she is going to lunch!!!! This poor old lady with a walker had to go back downstairs to check in. Shame on you, you should be fired!"

"From the front desk to the physical therapy to the drs are all A+++ THE NURSES ON THE 8TH FLOOR ROCK THERES ANIYA VICKI MIA BETH JAMES DONNA MARK FRED AND JANA JUST TO NAME A FEW FROM THE 8TH FLOOR THIS FLOOR IS MADE UP OF NOTHING BUT WOMEN WHO GO ABOVE AND BEYOND EVERY DAY to do (ABC) THINGS THAT ARE THEIR JOB and (DEF )THOSE LITTLE EXTRA THINGS LIKE A NICE SMILE 24 HR SERVICE A LAUGH AND A SHOULDER TO CRY ON AND A EAR TO LISTEN THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS A FAMILY NEEDS WHEN THEY BRING THERE PERSON TO STAY . THE 8TH FLOOR EMPLOYEES DESERVE A RAISE, A THANK YOU PARTY , OR A RECOGNITION DINNER BECAUSE THEY ARE SUCH a special crew Don't hesitate to bring your person Don't forget to come see your person they are very kind to the family #angelshereonearth"
