"i have been an off and on patient ever since i was a kid. about a decade or so? and after going to a ward where i got proper help, it has helped me realize how poorly run this place is. the desk people are more often than not snippy. if you have a disorder that's seen as resistant? your doctors want nothing to do with you, and you can tell. i have always had this issue here. the turnover rate is incredibly high. in the past, i had lapses in care due to counselors leaving; which i wasn't notified of that fact, nor was there any effort on coleman's end to get me with someone new. if you have the ability to go anywhere else (there's some good places in stow and ravenna) you definitely should. i am sure there's probably some fine psychs and therapists at coleman, but with what i know now? i wouldn't take the risk personally."

"Called as new pt, asking if a specific doctor took new pts. I was asked 'what ins do you have?' Ans: Medicare & Medicaid. Asked 'what county I live in.' Answer Portage. "We can't take you, since Medicare is your primary, we don't take Medicare." I responded that either could be billed, I already checked with Medicaid. "We don't take Medicaid." I responded "what is wrong with you people, really, what is wrong with you?" She hung up on me. I checked website. Both Medicare & Medicaid listed as insurances they accept. I called back, asked for a manager; of course, they were in a meeting. Explained above convo to 2nd person, website lists both ins, "what is the problem?" I was accused of "screaming." I was not screaming. Tactic on her part to justify being rude to me is all that was. I was given more contradictions and elusive answers. This is a MENTAL HEALTH FACILITY?! I've never dealt with such condescending and incompetent staff from a healthcare facility. This facility needs INVESTIGATED!"

"Can not get a straight answer from staff whether or not I am eligible to be seen. One week its I am eligible, to the next that I am now longer eligible and need to look elsewhere. One minuet is that it is a quick appointment and the next is its a huge and time consuming process to be seen. Just so much misinformation is given to a potential client that I would not waste my time and would suggest that anyone considering them to look elsewhere as I have done."

"Waited 4 weeks for an intake appointment, that was initially supposed to be telehealth since I’m moving, then I get a call a week before my appointment saying I’ve been double booked so they needed to adjust my appointment until this morning. I had to wait 20 minutes for Tina to show up and when I asked if this is typical, her previous appointment running 20 minutes over, and she said it’s not her responsibility—everything should be blamed on her scheduler. I really deserved better. My schedule didn’t work out to spend nearly the first half of my hour just waiting, wondering if something else got messed up with my FIRST appointment. This place is not dependable, if you’re really needing help, seek another place. It’s more stress than it’s worth. There’s more people and psychiatrists that care enough to show up when they say they will."
