"Unbelievably terrible experience. Show up at 8:15 for 8:30 appointment get put in a room at 8:35 at 9:20 I not a soul has stopped in. I have to leave, I walk out to the desk and Maria who I have heard talking in the hallway “suddenly “ appears and asks if we can talk. No regard to send someone in to say she’d be late. No care that patients have lives too just a “ we stack you up 3-4 to an appointment time attitude”. The best part was I still have to argue with UH to get my $20 copay back because they couldnt unprocess it. Maria gave a toss whether she saw me and then I have to fight to get my money back and this is health care with UH."

"Several year former patient here. There are some serious issues with whoever works the phones at Ulrich Professional Group. The only time they answer the phones are between 11am and 2pm, where they pick up to say "We're at lunch" and then hang up before you can get a word out. If you call any other time during normal business hours, they will not answer. If you leave a voicemail, they will either not call you back or they will call you back in 3+ business days. I had blood work done over a month ago. I waited two weeks and never heard anything so I called and left a voicemail requesting the results. Then another two weeks go by, still no call back. So today, I walked into in their office in the middle of the afternoon. There were zero patients waiting in the lobby and two receptionists just sitting there giggling with each other. I asked if my bloodwork results were in and they said the doctor hasn't reviewed my bloodwork yet. What??? Over a month and the doctor hasn't looked at my results??? That is either a huge red flag or a lie. Needless to say I won't be coming back here."

"TLDR: This office never actually booked my appointment in their system. I waited four months to show up to my appointment time to be told that I’m not in the system, and there’s nothing they can do but schedule a new appointment for me 6-8 weeks out. I made an appointment over the phone in May to be seen in September (the doctor was booked until then) because I need to establish a new primary care doctor in my area. I booked it, even with the months of wait time, because I’ve read good reviews about the doctor and wasn’t having any serious issues at the time. Recently though, I have been especially looking forward to this appointment because I need a refill on a medication, and I’ve been struggling with a mental illness I was hoping to get a diagnosis for/get help with. (I see a psychologist as well, but she is unable to write prescriptions since she is not a medical doctor.) I found it a little odd I didn’t receive a reminder call or text about the appointment a day prior, but I didn’t think much of it since I would be a new patient. That was until I arrived at my appointment time and upon checking in, the clerk couldn’t find any record of me at all in their system. It’s not like I accidentally jotted down the wrong date or time - they could not find an appointment under my name, address, or phone number at all. It is clear somebody made a clerical error on their end, and my appointment wasn’t entered into the system. A HUGE oversight for an appointment booked months out. The clerk’s only solution was to create a new appointment for me to be seen in 6-8 weeks at the earliest. I should have pushed back and asked if they could squeeze me in today due to their own oversight/mistake, but I didn’t. I was calm and polite, but I was emotionally overwhelmed at that point knowing I’d have to wait even longer to establish a primary care physician and get a diagnosis, so I walked out without rescheduling. I even did a little research once I got home to make sure I wasn’t imagining things or possibly booked an appointment at a different doctor’s office by mistake. I checked my phone records from May, and there was a 6 minute phone call to this office on the 27th. I have had a scheduled calendar event in my phone for months to remind me of this appointment as well. I researched yet again through my list of providers in the area and called around. Thankfully Dr Holmer’s office in Stow was able to find a cancellation and schedule me in less than two weeks. This was just a totally unacceptable oversight. For the solution to be a new appointment two months out is hardly a solution at all."

"The first and only time I came here, it was great. I saw Dr. Factor. The staff sent a nice note welcoming me to the practice . Then, when I tried to make subsequent appointments, it was nearly impossible to get someone to pick up the phone. The first time, it was six months after my first appointment. I called and called. Twenty minutes on hold was common. I ended up going to Minute Clinic. Then a year after my appointment, I tried to get in again. By then they added a message that said leave a message and we'll call you back in 24 hours. That is not acceptable. I was having very painful side pain. Once I got through, they told me I'd be flagged as urgent, but I didn't get a call until 15 minutes before closing. They also scolded me for waiting a year to come back. I ended up going back to a doctor I saw three years ago with the staff picking up quickly. Ulrich is awful."
