"Last year of February, I had a Tumor surgery. My experience at this Hospital was a nightmare. I had to stay in the ICU for two weeks. The surgery was not done right. I think the Doctor's was not focusing of he was doing. Some of the nurses were great. I will not go back to that place again."

"My review is specifically about the Cardio Thoracic Intensive Care Unit. All the doctors and nurses went above and beyond for my husband Brian. Dr. Aurora, Dr. Johnson, the best nurses Mallory, Shelby and Sydney, then Natasha , Nichole and Kevin (I can’t remember everyone’s specialty) all of these people fought hard for my husband. I knew his chances were not good, but all of these caring humans fought long and hard for Brian. My children and I are so grateful for giving us that extra time with him. When the time came they gave me Brian’s dying wish to die in my arms. Forever grateful, the Brian M. Steele family."

"I know it's hard to believe some reviews online. But please do not bring your loved one to UH. These doctors, specialists, and nurses truly do not care. (Actually there was ONE amazing nurse in ICU) but you truly are just another numbered case here. I lost my dad due to the negligence of his "care team". There are so many situations that occurred, (such as wrongly dosed meds that destroyed his organs, and bedsores) that it would take me hours to write it all out. But aside from the lack of care my dad recieved, they continued giving him false hope of finding out what was wrong with him for weeks, so he wanted to stay even though he was declining daily. I begged him to get transferred elsewhere. But by the time I was able to convince him we needed a new medical team somewhere else it was too late. And we still do not have any answers as to what was ever wrong with him to begin with. So Instead of referring him out somewhere else to figure out what was wrong, he is gone. It is truly heartbreaking. And if you are in the "older" building, it literally looks like a basement of a horror movie and it isabsolutely filthy. I had to clean an inch of dust off of all the equipment behind his bed. I complained and all I heard was "yeah we know this building is old". Please just run as far away from this place as you can and warn others."

"18 years apart - same result My Mom In 2005 the doctors at UH Medical Center missed she had cancer in her spine. Her spine collapsed, they tried fusing it. She used a walker, screaming in pain. (Exact location) My Brother In 2023 the doctors UH Medical Center missed he had cancer in his spine. He was screaming in pain the last 45 days of his life.(Exact location) Same Location.. Different Doctors .. Same Incompetence. Nothing has changed. It's just a huge money making casino - patient treatment/patients comfort last priority corporation. You the patients are there to visually improve the look of it. Making the location look like the MGM Grand. Click your loved ones barcode, milk their insurance for UH Cleveland Medical Center profits. Funny how the actual care hasn't improved but you feel like you're walking on the set of Star Trek. Go anywhere else.. Sadly it's going to probably be the same. The patient is the vehicle or pawn to milk their insurance company so they can make as much money off of you and this generation of doctors know it and abuse the system. Doctors see dollars signs when they see sick people. It's a cold money making business and the patient is hoping whatever doctor that's assigned to them will slightly care, before they hop into the next patient cubicle."
