"I feel like this place is okay but not exactly the best sushi I've ever had. The miso soup needs a bit more seasoning. I also feel like the sauce they provide with the fried oysters don't really pair well & the raw fish isn't as fresh as I'd like but, I do believe they are fair with the price. I spent $23.19 on this meal of a sushi roll, fried oysters, miso soup & green tea and I'd say that's a pretty good deal. I was quite full afterwards."
"Food was really good. Service was not that great. Waited around 15 minutes before anyone ever asked what I wanted to drink. I think it would have been better with a different server."
"Food is good. Prices reasonable. Close to my home. I order frequently. Tonight I ordered carry out sushi through the website. They decided unannounced they are going to charge .50¢ for an extra thing of soy sauce. Which I did not receive. If you dine in there’s no extra charge for soy sauce. I always tip. Not sure why a business would be so petty. I have soy sauce at home. But it’s not the same. Disappointing. :("
"I enjoyed a wonderful meal at Taku call late on a Saturday night. Everything came out in a timely fashion and with good pacing between the courses. I ordered some sushi à la cart and the salmon teriyaki bento box. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were very polite and friendly and I will definitely be going back sometime."
"‘Taku Japanese Steakhouse’ is a relatively new dining establishment with excellent service and friendly staff. Food was served quickly and taste was flavorful. Calming atmosphere with traditional instrumental background music. Will dine here again and try more of ‘Taku’s’ more traditional Japanese cuisines. Enjoyed their serene environment."
