Kroger

"Friendly staff and good selection for this size store. My only complaint is with Kroger Corporate removing so many front-end employees. I'm reminded how much I hate self checkout every time I come here. It has its place, but when you have just one person running a register, and one person running a couple rows of self checkouts at a busy time it's maddening. I've contemplated just leaving my full cart as it sits multiple times, but I don't want some employee restocking all my stuff because management thinks this is a good idea. This has zero to do with anyone at that store. The employees are great. Corporate are the ones to blame here... Do better."

"Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had at a grocery store. The job that I work at gave us manufacturing coupons to use for the holidays. They gave each employee $100 that was split up into $25 coupons. Upon checkout my co worker and I were told that we could not use them all at once and can only use one per transaction. We understood and the cashier (who was very sweet) gave the option of splitting up the transaction between my co worker and I. Then the cashier manager came over and stated that she would not do that due to us coming in as a group together. She was EXTREMELY rude and then proceeded to talk to the employee about us, right in front of us. She had terrible customer service and refused to even talk to us. The poor cashier felt so bad and I equally felt bad for her that she had to deal with poor management."

"Ckick list. You pay extra to use this service. Do you think you would get extra care? No, groceries placed on the top of chips, and I think they intentionally select the worst they can find. I had to drive a 30-mile round trip to get a bag of lettuce replaced. I had just picked up. It was completely brown. Wish I had seen it when the kid was loading it in my car. Kroger was very quick to apologize and exchange it for a fresh one, but nobody can give me back the minutes of my life lost driving back to replace it."

"Every time I’m in the Xenia Kroger it’s a really good experience. I have to mention that an employee I usually see in the Dairy section named Paul has to be the hardest working person I’ve ever seen! At the same time he’s friendly and always willing to help me find things. He’s the best!! Way to go Paul and the Xenia Kroger"

"This Kroger needs updated. They do a decent job of keeping it clean. The two times I've been recently they didn't have a cash register open. Only self checkouts. And they were very busy. I felt bad for the employee. They seemed overworked. I don't mind self checkouts but when it's strictly that it causes more stress for the employees and it makes wait times much longer."
