"Outstanding food. Horrendous service. We've been there a few times in the past year, and each time the service has been terrible. It seems that every server wants to be anywhere else but there. They're curt, they don't follow-up, any request is usually met with a heavy sigh and an eye roll and their customer service skills are grossly lacking. We've somewhat grown accustomed to it, but it does make for a less than pleasant experience. It's not enjoyable when your server acts as if you are a huge inconvenience. The positive spin is you won't have to spend much on a tip because when it's time to pay the bill, you won't want to leave much. Yeah. They're that unpleasant and unfriendly. Too bad because again - their food is very good. They just need to get some servers in there that know the meaning of good customer service."

"This is another of the local resturants that people drive for 50 miles to enjoy. Large tables for extended family gatherings, food made fresh. Everyone there is happy to be there, enjoy their jobs, and actually like their work - the food is a reflection of this passion. Next time I'm home in Ohio, I too will be making the 45-minute drive north of Dayton."

"Went for dinner tonight, ordered the Prime Rib, baked potato and coleslaw. Normally the food there is pretty good. The servers that we've had in the past and tonight, are less than congenial. Tonight's meal was far below satisfactory. The baked potato and the coleslaw were good, but the prime rib was luke warm, I ordered medium, it was between rare and medium rare and so tough it was hard to chew. My friend that was with me had the same problem with his as well. The waitress did ask if I'd like anything else, I told her no, I'd just have the potato and slaw. Never saw her again at the table after that. Another server came by and said they would discount my bill and took 10% off a $16 meal I couldn't even eat any of, except the side dishes. Very disappointing visit and probably won't be back for a while."

"Small but mighty restaurant right off of I-75. Got there early with a part of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids). Asked what we wanted to drink as we were being taken to the table. Drinks were at our table right after we got settled in. Ordered a skillet with gravy and two sunny up eggs on top. Absolutely delicious. Kids eaxh got Mickey Mouse pancake that they destroyed. More food than we should have eaten but it was delicious so we finished it all. Will go back again."
