"When we moved into this house about 5 years ago Suburban became our propane company by default as the previous owners were leasing a tank from them. From the first call to the local office in DeFuniak Springs to transfer the account forward to today we could not be more pleased. During that time we have purchased an additional tank for a generator, had them come out to do the line hook up, and have had both tanks refilled several times. Anytime we need them for service or to pay our bill we call the local office and are treated as family...only our name is required. No customer service numbers, account numbers, PINs, mother's maiden name, etc are needed. The wonderful ladies answering the phone KNOW us!! It's like going back in time. It was time for a refill. Due to above average rainfall making the approximately 12 mile drive down off road conditions to our house "iffy" for their truck we were in a holding pattern as they waited for the all clear from us. Here comes Hurricane Michael. We called them that Monday needing emergency refill for our generator tank which was at 70%. Michael hit Wednesday afternoon and the generator kicked on that night. Friday morning brought a knock on our door. There stood Lester with his truck ready to fill our tanks!!!! Incredible. He drove all the way down here not knowing if the road was even passable (not like he was "in the neighborhood and decided to drop by") to make sure we had propane for our generator to weather the power outage. Talk about great customer service! Wonderful company with fabulous employees and a sense of old time community values. A breath of fresh air in today's cold, automated environment."

"Awful customer service... only one tech for entire area had to wait for him to get off vacation? They only service on Wednesdays and won't tell you a time or even time window they will be there. If anything happens or no tech available wait til next Wednesday... you can call and talk to the grumpy manager who must be used to putting people off. They don't care if they get an account or not. Just in general a bad experience for anyone trying to do business with them"
