4C BBQ is a family restaurant located at 1045 U.S. 331 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida. Founded by Robin and Teresa Ford, the restaurant has a rich history dating back to the late 1900s when Robin, a Texas sheriff's deputy, started cooking up delicious brisket for his colleagues. What started as a small gathering grew into a full-blown catering business, eventually leading the Fords to open their own restaurant.

"Have to pay attention to the signage if that what you are looking for but it is next to Dollar General’s. Family dining side is the far right door. Atmosphere is black ceilings wide open dining are. Huge stage on one end of dining are. Staff was good but under staffed. Food was really good. We will return."

"Certainly not the greatest BBQ I have had. Their sauce is thin and only 1 option. The jalapeno ranch is very good. They do offer other food options in addition to BBQ. They do offer daily specials that are normally better than most things on their menu. This place is only slightly above average due to lack of other options in the area. Their food prices are a little higher than most and the portion sizes tend to vary."

"This place was recommended by coworkers as I was new to the area. The atmosphere is great, it's located in an end unit in a strip mall and from outside doesn't look like much. However when you get inside all of that changes. First of all it is a nice, large, open atmosphere decorated rustic Chic. Our service was slow, our food took a long time to come out, and everything we ordered; apps, salads, etc all came out together with our entrees. I will say though they seemed to be understaffed and also had a large size party in the private room and I'm sure that impacted both the kitchen and wait staff. The food itself was just okay. My wife's blackened fish was seasoned unevenly with some parts being caked with dry, burnt, blackening seasoning while mine was dry. I had the smoked ribs, brisket, and pork. The ribs were good but as I mentioned the pork and brisket were both dry. 3/10 I will try again."

"This is a great local barbecue joint. We have been a few times. We visited on a Friday evening about 7:00 pm. We had no wait for a table. Our drink and food orders were taken quickly, and the food came out quick, too. My husband ordered the sampler, and enjoyed every bit. I ordered the tuna dip sandwich, which was really delicious. We also shared an order of cheese curds. They were super fresh and tasty."
